 Determine the category of cargo to be shipped well in advance of executing the order, and decide suitable cargo handling and storage

 Responsible for capacity planning as per the cargo to be moved, and optimize container loads to reduce per unit costs.
 Oversee land transport for all inbound/outbound shipments as well as Less than container load (LCL) and Full container load (FCL),
supervise multipoint loading operations, ensure efficiency.
 Review 3rd party warehouse invoices to verify accuracy, approve payments and forward invoices to finance department.
 Communicate with agents located abroad to ensure no delays in customs clearance; complete all customs formalities and procedures.
 Arrange for transport if needed for interface between trucking companies and carriers to prevent any shipment delays and accrual of
additional costs.
