1. Behind the Net Curtains
In this screenshot, we see the very first scene being a teabag in a mug. This suggests
to us, the target audience that it’s a calm, relaxed place which then carries on towards
the end of the sequence as-well. The music behind the visuals also backs up the fact
that this is a calm place. The calmness in this opening sequence also enhances the bits
which are not clm and makes them more dramatic.
In this screenshot, the old lady is rubbing raw meat with her bear hands. This causes
the audience to think why she is doing it and it my be just a red herring within the
storyline but still important to the audience to think as to why she is rubbing the raw
meat. There are many closeups within this part of the opening sequence. This is
showing us exactly what they want us to look at, as the audience.

2. This shows the old women placing the photo on the side down and it catches our eye
to the photo as its in the centre of the frame and she walks past the camera many
times which also makes us think that the emotions about the person in the photo is
very mixed. This leads us to think that the relationship is bad with the person in the
picture and foreshadows the ending of the opening sequence.
In this screenshot, we can see the old women in the centre of the frame which
suggests to us that she is the main character in this opening sequence. I also think that
the red sofa is located where it is on purpose to show danger which then foreshadows
the ending. The medium shot lets us see the entire picture and exactly what she is
doing in the frame which then also suggest to us, as the artist audience, that we
shouldn't just be looking at her, we should be looking at the wider picture.

3. In this screenshot, we can just see the person, who was in the picture before, at the top
of the stairs standing therewith a very over powering stance. This then ties up how
before the old lady fell down the stairs, she was pushed by this person and the hidden
identity and us not being able to see his face also suggest that he doesn't want us to
know who it was. The camera angle is a medium shot with leading lines created by
the stairs up to where he is standing at the top.
