are Spice money and Shiksha. So the internship report is based on
“Spice money and Shiksha”.
Objectives of the Report
The objective was to create the awareness to the retailers
about the AEPS.
To improve the acceptance of AEPS as a mode of payment
among merchants.
The objective was to convince retailers to take the product.

spice money.
Receiving feedback about the product.
Finding out the alternative uses of the existing product.

improve its existing products.
Know about the customer’s needs and expectations.
Scopes
The scope of the study was not limited because we can go any market in
the NCR region for the leads. The study is wide and valuable. The
internship was based on the taking reviews of the students about their
college and generating interest in the retailers for spice money product.
Challenges
16. INTERNSHIP REPORT ON OYSTERCONNECT.COM

6
In Spice money the limitation was asking for the ID proof of the retailer
was challenging. Convincing them to give the picture of their ID proof
and ask for their help in filling the lead generation form.
In Shiksha, the limitation was taking reviews of the students about their
colleges and after that matching that detail with social networking site
and contacting them.

SPICE MONEY
In my 8 weeks work experience I go through different responsibilities,
one to one conversation, team meeting etc.
My first task was to do a survey on the sales associate’s using different
online payment methods (card swiping machines, net banking, paytm,
mobile wallet).
Generating a lead by convincing the retailer to use the company device,
by telling them the benefits of it.
Afterwards getting their data feeded on “LEAD GENERATION FORM”
which was available on spice money database.
Then reporting to my mentor at evening.
I worked on target basis.
Target was set by my project manager weekly.
Therefore, the job profile was core on sales.
Incentive was given in the form of COE (certificate of excellence).

Ask all retailers of their ID proof picture.
Fill the lead generation form for all the retailers.
Upload all the forms in poimmaper app.
Competitors analysis
Ask for students reviews
Submit their reviews on shiksha
Give update about the project to mentor
Learning outcome
The internship program is being organized for learning the real corporate
experience. From my 8 weeks working experience with Oysterconnect. I
have done two projects and from that, I achieved many learning from
them. As an intern, I believe I achieved so many things during the
internship, which I can apply in my carrier life. It was a great
opportunity for me to work with Shiksha and spice money through
Oysterconnect. In addition, I got the opportunity to know the nature of
corporate culture such as attending meeting with team, giving monthly
updates about the task assigned.
22. INTERNSHIP REPORT ON OYSTERCONNECT.COM

I learn how to communicate with the retailers and learn how to convince
the retailers to give their ID proofs and fill the lead generation form. I
learn how to make use of contacts and make use of social networking
site. Also during the survey, I had to communicate with lot of retailers of
different markets, with many retailers, which ultimately enhance my
communication skill. I also learned how to do real work in extreme
pressure.
FIELD EXPERIENCE
This research provided an opportunity to walk down on the field
and have a one on one interaction with people from different
walks of life. This diversified environment with a pool of
disparate minds helped us in understanding their take on
internship as to what value does an internship hold in their life,
or what is their thought process when they think about the
product. How it differs from person to person and the reasons,
23. INTERNSHIP REPORT ON OYSTERCONNECT.COM

which motivates an individual to take the product of spice
money and give reviews for shiksha. All this help me to
understand the market and I learn how to communicate and learn
many marketing strategies in the field. Over all my field,
experience in the market was very good and I learn a lot from
field.

Observations and Recommendations
For all kind of business after sales service is more important than other
service to retain customers. So survey is very important for that, because
this five valuable data to take perfect decision. As SPICE MONEY &
SHIKSHA is doing this so, this is very good sine not only for them but
also for our market as well.
However, the process of conducting a survey was not up to the
expectation. I hope this will overcome very soon as because they also
start this and this is a learning process for them as well.
Finally, I think that each department should think intern as their co-
workers rather than only intern. This is because many of the members do
not want to share the kind of work they do and what sorts of task they
usually do. As a result, at the end of the day we could not learn more. If
they do not want to disclose then what is the use of keeping the interns
since they are not learning effectively.
Findings and Analysis of spice money
With the purpose of measure the interest level of the retailers a sequence
of questions were asked to the retailers with the help of a lead generation
form, the data from these questions are tabulated below.

Conclusion
Eventuallywe all know that spice money is technology
related company so, they have to be updatedall the time,
and otherwise they will be wipeout from the competition.
At last, the thing is this system is new for peopleand we
have to educate them not only in metropolitancity but
also the 2/3 tier city as well.
To increase their market they have to educate and create
the new need for their product& services. They should
also lower down their prices of their product to boost up
there sales.
Now, if we talk about shiksha then it is a company, which
is taking first mover advantage in the market. Now many
more players are coming in this segment too, because it is
having lots of potential.
There are limited colleges and courses in shiksha,
especially of metropolitan city, so they should focus also
on the othercities as well.
