3. RELEVANCE OF TOPIC:-
• Today’s children are tomorrows responsible citizen.
• Discipline must be taught in their early stages of life.
• In the present era, most of the children are presenting
numerous behavioural disorders like Autistic spectrum of
disorders, ADHD etc.
• In this fast going life, children are susceptible to various
issues like mobile addictions, gambling, sexual abuses etc.

4. OBJECTIVE OF THE PRESENT STUDY:-
• To conduct a conceptual study on the significance of
Achara Rasayana in achieving a healthy child hood.

5. • This study was carried out by literature search and critical
review of the obtained facts.
• Charaka Samhita was referred for getting classical reference.
• Various medical research databases like PubMed, Google
scholar and other national research databases were also
referred.
• The obtained facts were critically analysed and made in to
fruitful discussion points.

9. • Ghrita: Vata Pitta Samana, Dhi Smruti Medha Vardhana,
Dhathupusti, Ojasya, Agnideepana, Swarya, Jwarapaha &
Rasayana.
• Ksheera: Ojasya, Agnideepana, Snigdha, Dhathuvardhana,
Jeevaniya & Rasayana.
• Madhya: Possess qualities opposite to Ojas, directly affect on
Satva, alcohol depresses the central nervous system, increased
risk of developing cardiovascular disease, malabsorption etc.
• Maithuna: Proper sexual education and the ability to say ‘ no
to bad touch’.

10. IMPLEMENTATION:-
• Some of the rules of Achara Rasayana were found to be
impractical in the cases of young children.
• But children always try to copy their parents and other
members of the family in almost all activities.
• So by practising the rules of Achara Rasayana by the
elders, thus by setting role models for their children,
both family and subsequently the society will get the
benefits of Rasayana therapy.

11. APPLIED ASPECTS:-
• Behavioural therapy.
• Modification – food and life style
• Speech therapy and occupational therapy for ASD and
ADHD children.
• Proper sexual education, create awareness about sexual
pervasions, sexual abuses etc.
• Awareness against various addictions like alcohol,
drugs, internet gaming, gambling etc.
• Avoid junk foods and carbonated drinks.
• In Japan- “ catch them young” – to develop a
responsible future generation.

12. CONCLUSION:-
• Achara rasayana is a special type of rasayana mentioned
only in Charaka Samhita 4th Rasasyanapada.
• Also known as Nitya Rasayana. Does not require any
internal medicines to produce the effect.
• The present study aims at the timely use of this
rasayana in children to attain a healthy life in all aspects.
• While critically analysing the ingradients, viharas will
play more important role than the Ahara.
• So by the judicious use of this Rasayana, we can get
the benefit of Rasayana in children without complex
rejuvenating formulas.
