This job description is for a maintenance and assembly service technician position that requires travel to perform onsite installations and services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1) Repair, alter and overhaul all types of special machinery.
2) Diagnoses trouble, tears down and reassembles intricate mechanisms and machines.
3) Uses common precision measuring instruments and gauges.
4) Ability to perform electrical controls troubleshooting.
5) Good mechanical skills.
6) Perform equipment testing.
7) Ability to weld and use a cutting torch.
8) Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
9) Perform in-house maintenance on machinery and machine tools.
10) Troubleshoot, repair and replace components.
11) Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
12) Represent Komar in a friendly manner during installation and service projects.
13) Other duties as assigned by Management.
TRAVEL
This position requires 50% travel to 48 states to perform onsite installation and service.
Some international travel may be required.
Understanding basic safety regulations and protocol is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Average level of physical exertion is medium. Required to bend, kneel, stoop, crawl, climb
ladders both caged and uncaged, as well as stairs and other equipment. Required to stand and
walk. Maximum unassisted lift = 75lbs. with an average of less than 35lbs.

Attendance: Being dependable, reliable and punctual are critical.
Self-motivated.
Must be able to pass DOT physical.
Must pass drug testing.
Applicant must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
