CAREER HISTORY
U-Blox - PROJECT MANAGER June 2012 - Present
Accountable for managing the delivery of critical project. Provided managerial support for two main
projects conducted by the company. Also responsible for providing monthly technical updatesof any known
issues/risks.
Duties:
Preparing Project Initiation documentation.
Coordinating development teams to carrying out the requirement analysis
Maintaining and completing Project Key Performance Indicators.
Writing detailed and summarized project progress reports.
Tracking activities against the detailed project plans.
Updating project plans to include agreed changes.
Organizing and facilitating Project Steering / Operating Committees meetings on weekly basis.
Tracking the validation process on daily basis to ensure the stack stability.
Tracking all the related issues on Jira and getting them closed before release delivery.
Delivering the Installer to Client after verification.
Yearly objectives:
DMS Integration March 2013:
Document management server is used to manage the documents delivered and updated for the delivered releases; Our
Company started using DMS after acquisition by end of 2012. I had the task to define the document publishing
workflow and it versioning.
2. Working with Jenkins June 2013:
Due to strict stability constraints regression was required to be executed on the daily basis.In second quarterof 2013
Jenkins was integrated to caterthe strict testing requirements and build stability. I had the taskto build installer through
Jenkins.
Jira Server October 2013:
Jira was implemented to track issues reported by different teams with U Blox for different projects.Worked to improve
the document and software workflow, issue state transition and release notes publishing on Jira.
Perforce December 2013:
Perforce is used for code management. All the U-blox sites have their code on perforce for easy integration with the
code developed in different sites. I had the job to define the branching strategy and acceptance criteria.
Installer changes June 2014:
Installer was previously built with Visual Studio 2008 but after licensing issues it was required to be built
independently. After careful consideration NSIS was selected to build the installer and package the required files. I
had the job to update the code and write nsi script for successful installer creation.
Testing tool deployment November 2014:
Testing tool referred to as Network Simulator was used for in-house testing was required to be branched off as a
separate stream in perforce. After branch off NetSim was required to be build successfully and execute the required
testing. The task was completely allocated to me and is currently being used by all sites of U-Blox.
Protocol Stack integration and validation February 2016:
A major protocol stackintegration and verification activity was kicked off in start of this year. The activities included
implementation of incomplete features, the integration and the validation of those features. During this activity i was
managing the complete testing side of the project. My activities included:
• Timely check in of the initial version of test cases
• Automation of the test scripts
• Daily triaging of the test cases
• Analysing and reporting issue if any
• Maintenance of the test systems
3. • Stream structure finalisation
• Branch mapping and release criteria
Anite Release September 2016:
Protocol stack release to Anite was delivered in September this year. This activity included:
• Roadmap finalisation
• Completion of targeted features
• Bringing up Protocol Stack code to test with Anite
• Stream structure and branch mappings
• Installer package creation
