1. Project- URS
About the Project:
URS- Universal Reinsurance System is a reinsurance reconciliation system imbedded in the mother system ‘Stone River’of
Ironshore. It’s currently being used by clients like MFX, OpenCo, OpenBox etc. in US for their reconciliation purposes. It’s
about to be implemented in UK also. URS is more based on Water fall methodology. Insurance policy details (known as DSI
feeds-Direct system Interface information) from various clients were fed into URS, run through modelers, preprocessors,
standardized and fed to Great Plains through nightly batch for reconciliation.
Project activities:
Working as the Lead Genpact resource for the Client “Iron Shore” for their application URS (Universal Reinsurance System for RI
Calculation) I was exercising below activities-
• Taking care of the DSI feeds coming to URS from various other Inward systems as OpenCO, OpenBox, MFX-US, and MFX-starr
and being forwarded to Great Plain system via Smart Connect as general ledger.
• Providing the RI (Reinsurance) / URS impact sign off to these Inward Systems based on insurance expertise and logic.
• Coordinating various stakeholders as the vendors of URS i.e. INPOINT, vendors of OpenCO INTECH/ Agencyport, RI Global
Head/ VP of Iron Shore etc.
• Follow up and check on the various tickets (Downstream approval tickets, Change request Tickets, Production tickets) Raised
in MTM tool (Iron shore ticket raising system, facilitated by INPOINT) for timely closing as per releases.
• Enhancement, Development and Maintenance of the Universal Reinsurance System.
• Providing the domain knowledge to in-house resources i.e QA & Developer team
• Ran efficiently the pilot phase of the process transfer as primary
• Requirement Gathering and exposed various levels of SDLCs

2. Project- MGAs/ TPAs (Managing the General Agents and Third Party Agents).
About the Project:
It was a similar type of project as URs, however the clients here were legacy clients and were to own the MFX insurance
system. The scope of the project was to process map the clients, data map them, profile them in SQl, standardize them as per
MFX and get them finally loaded to MFX. This is An Agile based Project.
Activities involved:
As a Lead Consultant, I was exercising below activities-
• Developing and enhancing the MFX system for the needs catered by MGAs & TPAs (Managing the General Agents and Third
Party Agents).MGA and TPAs are to be provided with MFX system for their underwriting purposes. Agile methodology is
prevailing.
• Daily team meetings and Matrices followed up for the Scrum, Development of the code and the system for their underwriting
utilization.
• End to end mapping and execution, confirmation and deployment for respective MGA/ TPA
• Regular interaction with the Business, client’s discussion over the iterations activities and planning in association with QA and
Development team.
 MASTEK Ltd. Navi Mumbai (July, 2010—24th Feb 2012) As Senior Business Analyst.
1. Project: Liberty mutual , Product: CLIPPERS, LOB- Commercial General Liability, Client- Liberty Mutual
About the Project: Liberty mutual
Liberty-Mutual, Addition of new line of Business i.e. Commercial General Liability. Liberty Mutual wanted to introduce a new
LOB CGL in their existing insurance product of Mastek- ‘Clippers’.

2. Project : ProAG Insurance (Crop Insurance- ‘OASIS’ – application of ProAG)
About the Project:
It is a software solution for Operations of a crop Insurance provider ProAG (A subsidiary of Cuna Mutual Group USA), which
deals with online writing policy , claim for the loss and Collecting and massaging data from RMA (USDA), which is used for
writing a valid policy. It is an application which deals with entire crop insurance life cycle. Mastek employees were responsible
to run the show. They were responsible for OASIS enhancement, Development and Maintenance for an effective Crop
insurance underwriting, Claims & losses.
Activities involved in:
• Interaction between Client and Mastek stake holders as QA, Development and Business Team
• Work flow diagram preparation
• Functional and domain PAS-Policy Admin System, knowledge transfer
• Drafting of the Internal Certification Process for the Team members of ProAG Insurance (Crop Insurance- ‘OASIS’–application
of ProAG)
• Responsible for Team ramp up, walk-through to Client system

About the Project:
Exceed insurance administration software solution is in use at many of the world's leading property and casualty/general
carriers that manage core business functions including policy processing for personal lines, and billing and claims for all lines of
business. Exceed is a software solution which offers a firm foundation for a componentized approach to insurance
administration system modernization. For example, the Exceed Policy component, with specialization in supporting personal
lines, can be implemented with third-party billing and claims systems, or with Exceed Billing or RISKMASTER Accelerator for
claims processing. Exceed Billing and RISKMASTER Accelerator support all lines of business. CSC's Exceed was developed in
collaboration with the world's leading insurance carriers. CSC works with the Exceed users' community and advisory council
through an Innovation Community process for consistent collaboration.
We at CSC had to manage various clients which were using Exceed. We had to handle their enhancement, developments and
maintenance. Respective Clients issues needed to be understood and articulated to QA, development team so that they could
be addressed well and fixed with proper business documents and testings.

They needed to be analyzed from insurance point of view as coverage, inception date, claims made, Claims occurrence,
adjustments to be made for Workmen compensation cases.
Roles and Responsibilities at Cambridge integrated Solution:
• For various clients and various LOBs, insurance issues were to be understood and articulated for documentation
• The information needed to be captured with tools as IBM ovation, IBM Claims Capture.
• First reports of information were to be drafted.
• Interaction with the client and Attorneys for litigated cases were to be discussed in association with business.

Project- URS About the Project: URS- Universal Reinsurance System is a reinsurance reconciliation system imbedded in the mother system ‘Stone River’of Ironshore. It’s currently being used by clients like MFX, OpenCo, OpenBox etc. in US for their reconciliation purposes. It’s about to be implemented in UK also. URS is more based on Water fall methodology. Insurance policy details (known as DSI feeds-Direct system Interface information) from various clients were fed into URS, run through modelers, preprocessors, standardized and fed to Great Plains through nightly batch for reconciliation. Project activities: Working as the Lead Genpact resource for the Client “Iron Shore” for their application URS (Universal Reinsurance System for RI Calculation) I was exercising below activities- • Taking care of the DSI feeds coming to URS from various other Inward systems as OpenCO, OpenBox, MFX-US, and MFX-starr and being forwarded to Great Plain system via Smart Connect as general ledger. • Providing the RI (Reinsurance) / URS impact sign off to these Inward Systems based on insurance expertise and logic. • Coordinating various stakeholders as the vendors of URS i.e. INPOINT, vendors of OpenCO INTECH/ Agencyport, RI Global Head/ VP of Iron Shore etc.

About the Project: It was a similar type of project as URs, however the clients here were legacy clients and were to own the MFX insurance system. The scope of the project was to process map the clients, data map them, profile them in SQl, standardize them as per MFX and get them finally loaded to MFX. This is An Agile based Project. Activities involved: As a Lead Consultant, I was exercising below activities- • Developing and enhancing the MFX system for the needs catered by MGAs & TPAs (Managing the General Agents and Third Party Agents).MGA and TPAs are to be provided with MFX system for their underwriting purposes. Agile methodology is prevailing. • Daily team meetings and Matrices followed up for the Scrum, Development of the code and the system for their underwriting utilization. • End to end mapping and execution, confirmation and deployment for respective MGA/ TPA • Regular interaction with the Business, client’s discussion over the iterations activities and planning in association with QA and Development team.  MASTEK Ltd. Project: Liberty mutual , Product: CLIPPERS, LOB- Commercial General Liability, Client- Liberty Mutual About the Project: Liberty mutual Liberty-Mutual, Addition of new line of Business i.e. Commercial General Liability. Liberty Mutual wanted to introduce a new LOB CGL in their existing insurance product of Mastek- ‘Clippers’. Project : ProAG Insurance (Crop Insurance- ‘OASIS’ – application of ProAG) About the Project: It is a software solution for Operations of a crop Insurance provider ProAG (A subsidiary of Cuna Mutual Group USA), which deals with online writing policy , claim for the loss and Collecting and massaging data from RMA (USDA), which is used for writing a valid policy. It is an application which deals with entire crop insurance life cycle. Mastek employees were responsible to run the show. They were responsible for OASIS enhancement, Development and Maintenance for an effective Crop insurance underwriting, Claims & losses. Project: EXCEED- Base Team , Product: EXCEED, LOBs- Home owners Policy, Personal Auto Policies, Water craft, Client- ALFA, PEMCO, SFB, IFB About the Project: Exceed insurance administration software solution is in use at many of the world's leading property and casualty/general carriers that manage core business functions including policy processing for personal lines, and billing and claims for all lines of business. Exceed is a software solution which offers a firm foundation for a componentized approach to insurance administration system modernization. For example, the Exceed Policy component, with specialization in supporting personal lines, can be implemented with third-party billing and claims systems, or with Exceed Billing or RISKMASTER Accelerator for claims processing. CSC works with the Exceed users' community and advisory council through an Innovation Community process for consistent collaboration. We at CSC had to manage various clients which were using Exceed. We had to handle their enhancement, developments and maintenance.
