Advisor to Taiwan Power Company for the pre-commissioning and start up of 15 Boilers in a combined
cycle operation. I was responsible for the safe start ups, precommissioning, liase with the Siemens software
engineers for program changes that ensure smooth startups. I also represented NEM the boiler
manufacturers Interests. Each of the 15 boilers had a LP steam production of 6.0 kg/sec at 5 barg. The HP
steam production was 48 kg/sec at 70 barg and 538 celcius. The units had a heat recovery rate of 55

MW/boiler and were fully automatic in start-up. I had in the last six months to carry out all warranty items
on the boilers and pumps. This included the supervision of contract labour and design changes to ensure
long life, of the boilers. I was also responsible for the performance testing of each boiler.

On loan to Evans Deakin of Brisbane Australia, from Nem to start their HRSG and Auxiliary Boilers and
Balance of plants. The steam was required for the continuous production of powdered milk from 5 million
litres /day of milk. Plant consisted of a EGT 40 MW, gas turbine, HRSG with supplementary firing, with HP
