parasites called ‘sporozoites’
travel through the bloodstream

mature and release a form of
merozoites, which enter the
bloodstream and spread the
infection to the red blood cells.

Artemisia annua, also
known as sweet
wormwood is one of the
most effective natural
remedies for malaria.
The herb has to be
steeped in cold water,
and the water should be
consumed directly in
order to get optimum
results.

remedy for treating
malaria. One teaspoon of
powdered cinnamon
should be boiled in a glass
of water with a pinch of

botanically known as
Swertia andrographis

lower the temperature. Take
250 ml of water, add 15

17. Orange Juice:
Orange Juice: Vitamin C is
known as an incredible immune
system booster, and this has
certainly proven true in the
treatment of malaria. Since it can
be difficult to keep food down
while suffering through malaria,
many people choose to go on a
water and orange juice diet, in
order to keep the body hydrated
and promote a concentrated
immune system attack on the
infection. After a few days of this,
other foods can be added back in,
but the antioxidant and immune-
system boosting effects of vitamin
C are often enough to kickstart
the recovery process.
