2. And The One gave Musa the Scripture, and made it a guide for the
bonded/Israel: Take none for protector other than Me.
3. The descendants of whom The One carried with Noh. He was an
appreciative servant.
4. And The One conveyed to the bonded/Israel in the Scripture: You will
commit evil on earth twice, and you will rise to a great height.
5. When the first of the two promises came true, The One sent against you
servants of The One’s, possessing great might, and they ransacked your
nation. It was a promise fulfilled.
6. Then The One gave you back your turn against them, and supplied you
with wealth and children, and made you more numerous.
7. If you work honestly, you work honesty for yourselves, and if you commit
crime, you do so against yourselves. Then, when the second promise
came true, they made your faces filled with sorrow, and invade the
government centre/masjid as they continuously destruct what was
initially destroyed.
8. Perhaps your Regulator will have mercy on you. But if you revert, The
One will revert. The One has made Hell a prison for the not convinced.
9. This Quran guides to what is most upright; and it gives good news to the
convinced who do productive works, that they will have a great reward.
10. And those who are not convinced in the Hereafter— The One have
prepared for them a painful punishment.
11. The human being invokes evil as he invokes for good. The human being
is very hasty.
12. The One has made the night and the day as two indicators. The One
erased the wonder of the night, and made the wonder of the day
revealing, that you may seek bounty from your Regulator, and know the
number of years, and the calculation. The One has explained all things in
detail.
13. For every person The One has attached his fortune to his neck. And on
the Day of Resurrection, The One will bring out for him a book which he
will find spread open.
14. “Read your book; today there will be none but yourself to call you to
account.”
15. Whoever is guided—is guided for his own good. And whoever goes
astray—goes astray to his detriment. No burdened soul carries the
burdens of another, nor do The One ever punish until The One have sent
a messenger.
16. When The One decides to destroy a town, The One commands its
affluent ones, they transgress in it, so the word becomes justified against
it, and The One destroys it completely.
17. How many generations have The One destroyed after Noh? Your
Regulator is sufficient as Knower and Beholder of the crimes of The One’s
servants.
18. Whoever desires the fleeting life, The One expedites for him what The
One decides to give him, to whomever The One accords. Then The One
confines him to Hell, where he will roast, condemned and defeated.
19. But whoever desires the Hereafter, and pursues it as it should be
pursued, while he is convinced—their effort will be appreciated.
20. To all—these and those— The One extends from the gifts of your
Regulator. The gifts of your Regulator are not restricted.
21. See how The One has distinguished some of them over others; yet the
Hereafter is greater in ranks, and greater in benefits.
22. Do not serve other than The One To Serve/Allah, lest you become
condemned and damned.
23. Your Regulator has commanded that you serve none but The One, and
that you be good to your parents. If either of them or both of them reach
old age with you, do not say to them a word of disrespect, nor scold
them, but say to them kind words.
24. And lower to them the wing of humility, out of mercy, and say, “My
Regulator, have mercy on them, as they raised me when I was a child.”
25. Your Regulator knows best what is in your minds. If you are honest—
The One is forgiving to the obedient.
26. And give the relative his rights, and the poor, and the wayfarer, and do
not squander wastefully.
27. The extravagant are brethren of the Sceptic mind, and the Sceptic mind
is ever ungrateful to his Regulator.
28. But if you turn away from them, seeking mercy from your Regulator
which you hope for, then say to them words of comfort.
29. And do not keep your hand neither tied to your neck, nor spread it out
fully, lest you end up liable and regretful.
30. Your Regulator expands the provision for whomever The One accords,
and restricts it. The One is fully Informed, Observant of The One’s
servants.
31. And do not kill your children for fear of poverty. The One provide for
them, and for you. Killing them is a terrible crime.
32. And do not come near adultery. It is immoral, and a bad way.
33. And do not kill the soul which The One To Serve/Allah has made sacred,
except in the course of justice. If someone is killed unjustly, The One has
given his next of kin certain authority. But he should not be excessive in
killing, for he will be supported.
34. And do not go near the orphan’s property, except with the best of
intentions, until he has reached his maturity. And honor your pledge,
because the pledge involves responsibility.
35. And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with accurate
scales. That is fair, and the best determination.
36. And do not occupy yourself with what you have no knowledge of. The
hearing, and the sight, and the intellect/heart—all these will be
questioned.
Fa-Alif-Dal = to hurt in the heart, be affected with heart disease, be struck in the heart. Motion, putting in motion When said of fuel; It burned, burned up, burned
brightly or fiercely, blazed, or flamed: and so when said of the heart; It became excited with ardour, or eagerness. Heart, mind/intellect, sharpness/acuteness of
mind.
37. And do not walk proudly on earth. You can neither pierce the earth, nor
can you match the mountains in height.
38. The evil of all these is disliked by your Regulator.
39. That is some of the wisdom your Regulator has revealed to you. Do not
set up with The One To Serve/Allah to serve another, or else you will be
thrown in Hell, rebuked and banished.
40. Has your Regulator favored you with sons, while choosing for The One-
self daughters from among the Powerful Agents? You are indeed saying
a terrible thing.
41. The One has explained in this Quran in various ways, that they may
remember, but it only adds to their rebellion.
42. Say, “If there were others to serve with The One, as they say, they would
have sought a way to the Regulator of the trellis.”
43. The Performing One. The One is exalted, far above what they say, greatly
Exalted.
44. Perform for The One the seven skies, all the multiplicity and the earth,
and everything in them. There is none but perform in appreciation of The
One, but you do not comprehend the performance. The One is indeed
forbearing and forgiving.
45. When you read the Quran, The One made known the difference between
you and those who are not convinced in the End Day to avoid
concealment.
46. And The One placed over their hearts covering, lest they understand it,
and heaviness in their ears. And when you study/mention your Regulator
in the Quran alone, they turn their backs restive.
Thaal-Kaf-Ra = to remember/commemorate/recollect, study in order to remember, remind, bear in mind, mindful, mention/tell/relate, magnify/praise,
admonish/warn (e.g. dhikra is the 2nd declenation and it is stronger than dhikr), preach, extol, give status. nobility/eminence/honour, fame, good report,
cause of good reputation, means of exaltation. Male/man/masculine (dhakar, dual - dhakarain, plural - dhukur).
Waw-Ha-Dal = to be one, alone, unique, unparalleled, remain lowly, be apart, assert the unity. waahidun - cardinal, number one, single. wahda - alone.
47. The One know well what they listen to, when they listen to you, as they
conspire, when the extremists say, “You only follow a man bewitched.”
48. Note what they compared you to. They are lost, and unable to find a way.
49. And they say, “When we have become bones and fragments, shall we
really be resurrected as a new creation?”
50. Say, “Even if you become rocks or iron.
51. Or some substance, which, in your minds, is even harder.” Then they will
say, “Who will restore us?” Say, “The One who originated you the first
time.” Then they will nod their heads at you, and say, “When will it be?”
Say, “Perhaps it will be soon.”
52. On the Day when The One calls you, you will respond with The One’s
praise; and you will realize that you have stayed only a little.
53. Tell My servants to say what is best. Sceptic mind sows discord among
them. Sceptic mind is to man a clear enemy.
54. Your Regulator knows you best. If The One accords, The One will have
mercy on you; and if The One accords, The One will punish you. The One
did not end you as their advocate.
55. Your Regulator knows well everyone in the universe and the earth. The
One has given some bearer of big news/prophets advantage over others,
and to Daud The One gave the Zabur.
56. Say, “Call upon those you claim besides The One. They have no power to
relieve your adversity, nor can they change it.”
57. Those they call upon are themselves seeking means of access to their
Regulator, vying to be nearer, and hoping for The One’s mercy, and
fearing The One’s punishment. The punishment of your Regulator is to
be dreaded.
58. There is no city but The One will destroy before the Day of Resurrection,
or punish it with a severe punishment. This is inscribed in the Book.
59. Nothing prevents The One from sending miraculous indicators, except
that the ancients called them lies. The One gave Thamood the she-camel,
a visible indicator, but they mistreated her. The One do not send the
indicator except to instill the deterence.
60. The One said to you that your Regulator encompasses mankind. The One
did not make the vision The One showed you, except as a test for the
people, and the dispute is accursed in the Quran. The One frighten them,
but it only increases their defiance.
61. When The One said to the Powerful Agents, “abide by Adam,” they
abided, except for Instinctive mind/Iblis. it said, “shall I submit before
someone You created from the elements?”
62. He said, “do You see this one whom You have honored more than me?
If You reprieve me until the Day of Resurrection, I will bring his
descendants under my sway, except for a few.”
63. The One said, “Be gone! Whoever of them follows you—Hell is your
reward, an ample reward.”
64. “And entice whomever of them you can with your voice, and rally against
them your cavalry and your infantry, and share with them in wealth and
children, and make promises to them.” But Sceptic mind promises them
nothing but delusion.
65. “As for My devotees, you have no authority over them.” Your Regulator
is an adequate Guardian.
66. Your Regulator is The One who propels for you the ships at sea, that you
may seek of The One’s bounty. The One is towards you Most Merciful.
67. When harm afflicts you at sea, that you call, except The One only. But
when The One saves you to land, you turn away. The human being is ever
ungrateful.
68. Are you confident that The One will not cause a track of land to cave in
beneath you, or unleash a tornado against you, and then you find no
protector?
69. Or are you confident that The One will not return you to it once again,
and unleash a hurricane against you, and drown you for your defiance?
Then you will find no avenger against The One.
70. The One have honored the mankind, and carried them on land and sea,
and provided them with good things, and greatly favored them over
many of The One created.
71. On the Day when The One call every people with their leader. Whomever
is given his record in his right hand—these will read their record, and
they will not be wronged one bit.
72. But whoever is blind in this, he will be blind in the Hereafter, and further
astray from the way.
73. They almost lured you away from what The One has revealed to you, so
that you would invent something else in The One name. In that case, they
would have taken you for a friend.
74. Had The One not given you stability, you might have inclined towards
them a little.
75. Then The One would have made you taste double in life, and double at
death; then you would have found for yourself no helper against The
One.
76. They almost provoked you, to expel you from the land. In that case, they
would not have lasted after you, except briefly.
77. The conduct of the messengers The One sent before you—you will find
no change in The One’s rules.
78. Carry out review/discussion at the decline of the sun, until the darkness
of the night; and the Quran at dawn. The Quran at dawn is witnessed.
79. And keep vigil during parts of the night with it an additional for you,
perhaps your Regulator will raise you to a laudable position.
ha-Jiim-Dal = to sleep watch, remain awake. hajjada - to awake from sleep, pray in the night. ahjad - to lay the neck upon the ground (camel). tohajjad - remain
awake.
Nuun-Fa-Lam = give spoil, gift, voluntary gift, accession/addition, something that exceeds the original, a deed beyond what is obligatory.
80. And say, “My Regulator, lead me in through an entry of truth, and lead
me out through an exit of truth, and grant me from You a supporting
power.”
81. And say, “The truth has come, and falsehood has banished; for falsehood
is bound to banish.”
82. The One send down in the Quran healing and mercy for those who are
convinced, but it increases the extremists only in loss.
83. When The One blesses the human being, he turns away and distances
himself. But when adversity touches him, he is in despair.
84. Say, “Each does according to his disposition. Your Regulator knows best
who is better guided in the way.”
85. And they ask you about the inspiration/soul(Ruh). Say, “The
inspiration/soul(Ruh) belongs to the domain of my Regulator; and you
were not given except little knowledge.”
86. If The One accords, The One could take away what The One revealed to
you. Then you will find for yourself no protecting guardian against The
One.
87. Except through a mercy from your Regulator. The One’s favors upon you
have been great.
88. Say, “If mankind and Invisibles came together to produce the like of this
Quran, they could never produce the like of it, even if they backed up
one another.”
89. The One have displayed for mankind in this Quran every kind of
similitude, but most people insist on denying the truth.
90. And they said, “We will not be convinced in you unless you make a spring
burst from the ground for us.
91. Or you have a garden of palms and vines; then cause rivers to gush
pouring through them.
92. Or make the sky fall on us in pieces, as you claim, or bring The One To
Serve/Allah and the Powerful Agents before us.
93. Or you possess a house of gold. Or you ascend into the sky. Even then,
we will not be convinced in your ascension, unless you bring down for
us a book that we can read.” Say, “Perform be my Regulator. Am I
anything but a human messenger?”
94. Nothing prevented the people from be convinced, when guidance has
come to them, except that they said, “Did The One To Serve/Allah send
a human messenger?”
95. Say, “If there were Powerful Agents on earth, walking around in peace,
The One would have sent down to them from heaven a Powerful Agents
as messenger.”
96. Say, “The One To Serve/Allah is enough witness between you and me.
The One is fully aware of The One’s servants, and The One sees them
well.”
97. Whomever The One To Serve/Allah guides is the guided one. And
whomever The One leaves astray—for them you will find no protectors
apart from The One. And The One will gather them on the Day of
Resurrection, on their faces, blind, dumb, and deaf. Their abode is Hell;
whenever it abates, The One intensifies the blaze for them.
98. This is their repayment for having blasphemed against The One’s
revelations, and having said, “shall we, when we have become bones and
fragments, be resurrected as a new creation?”
99. Do they not consider that The One To Serve/Allah has created the
heavens and the earth, is able to create the likes of them? The One has
assigned for them a term, in which there is no doubt. But the extremists
persist in denying the truth.
100. Say, “If you possessed the treasuries of my Regulator’s mercy, you would
have withheld them, for fear of spending.” The human being has always
been stingy.
101. The One gave Musa nine clear indicators—ask the bonded
people/(Israel). When he went to them, The Wicked said to him, “I think
that you, Musa, are bewitched.”
102. He said, “You know that none sent these down except the Regulator of
the universe and the earth—eye openers; and I think that you, The
Wicked, are doomed.”
103. He resolved to scare them off the land, but The One drowned him, and
those with him, altogether.
104. After him, The One said to the bonded people/Israel, “Stay on earth, and
when the promise of the Hereafter arrives, The One will bring you all
together.”
105. With the truth The One sent it down, and with the truth it descended.
And The One sent you only as a bearer of good news and a warner.
106. A Quran which The One unfolded gradually, that you may recite to the
people over time. And The One revealed it in stages.
107. Say, “be convinced in it, or not convinced.” Those who were given
knowledge before it, when it is recited to them, they fall to their chins,
submitting.
108. And they say, “Perform for your Regulator. The promise of our Regulator
is fulfilled.”
109. And they fall to their chins, weeping, and it adds to their humility.
110. Say, “Call The One To Serve/Allah, or call The Beneficient. Whichever
reality you use, to The One belong the Best Realities.” And be neither
loud in your review/discussion/prayer, nor silent in it, but follow a
course in between.
Instruction for Solah? -yes, how to proceed with review and discussion
-The tells you how to do review and discussion
-The One doesn’t tell what to review or discuss
-that’s purely your own prerogative
-its your life
-you run it the best way you can
111. And say, “Gratitude be to The One To Serve/Allah, who has not
begotten a son, nor has The One a partner in sovereignty, nor has
The One an ally out of weakness, and glorify The Glorious.”
And? -this is to finish the review and discussion
-by praising and showing gratitude to The One
-and declaring The One has no son
-no partner and no ally for weakness
-magnify The One with all magnificance

Qaf-Sad-Waw = distant/remote, far, go far away. quswa - more remote, further. 2. And The One gave Musa the Scripture, and made it a guide for the bonded/Israel: Take none for protector other than Me.
  • 2. 3. The descendants of whom The One carried with Noh. He was an appreciative servant. 4. And The One conveyed to the bonded/Israel in the Scripture: You will commit evil on earth twice, and you will rise to a great height. 5. When the first of the two promises came true, The One sent against you servants of The One’s, possessing great might, and they ransacked your nation. It was a promise fulfilled. 6. Then The One gave you back your turn against them, and supplied you with wealth and children, and made you more numerous. 7. If you work honestly, you work honesty for yourselves, and if you commit crime, you do so against yourselves. Then, when the second promise came true, they made your faces filled with sorrow, and invade the government centre/masjid as they continuously destruct what was initially destroyed. 8. Perhaps your Regulator will have mercy on you. But if you revert, The One will revert. The One has made Hell a prison for the not convinced. 9. This Quran guides to what is most upright; and it gives good news to the convinced who do productive works, that they will have a great reward. 10. And those who are not convinced in the Hereafter— The One have prepared for them a painful punishment.
  • 3. 11. The human being invokes evil as he invokes for good. The human being is very hasty. 12. The One has made the night and the day as two indicators. The One erased the wonder of the night, and made the wonder of the day revealing, that you may seek bounty from your Regulator, and know the number of years, and the calculation. The One has explained all things in detail. 13. For every person The One has attached his fortune to his neck. And on the Day of Resurrection, The One will bring out for him a book which he will find spread open. 14. “Read your book; today there will be none but yourself to call you to account.” 15. Whoever is guided—is guided for his own good. And whoever goes astray—goes astray to his detriment. No burdened soul carries the burdens of another, nor do The One ever punish until The One have sent a messenger. 16. When The One decides to destroy a town, The One commands its affluent ones, they transgress in it, so the word becomes justified against it, and The One destroys it completely. 17. How many generations have The One destroyed after Noh? Your Regulator is sufficient as Knower and Beholder of the crimes of The One’s servants.
  • 4. 18. Whoever desires the fleeting life, The One expedites for him what The One decides to give him, to whomever The One accords. Then The One confines him to Hell, where he will roast, condemned and defeated. 19. But whoever desires the Hereafter, and pursues it as it should be pursued, while he is convinced—their effort will be appreciated. 20. To all—these and those— The One extends from the gifts of your Regulator. The gifts of your Regulator are not restricted. 21. See how The One has distinguished some of them over others; yet the Hereafter is greater in ranks, and greater in benefits. 22. Do not serve other than The One To Serve/Allah, lest you become condemned and damned. 23. Your Regulator has commanded that you serve none but The One, and that you be good to your parents. If either of them or both of them reach old age with you, do not say to them a word of disrespect, nor scold them, but say to them kind words. 24. And lower to them the wing of humility, out of mercy, and say, “My Regulator, have mercy on them, as they raised me when I was a child.”
  • 5. 25. Your Regulator knows best what is in your minds. If you are honest— The One is forgiving to the obedient. 26. And give the relative his rights, and the poor, and the wayfarer, and do not squander wastefully. 27. The extravagant are brethren of the Sceptic mind, and the Sceptic mind is ever ungrateful to his Regulator. 28. But if you turn away from them, seeking mercy from your Regulator which you hope for, then say to them words of comfort. 29. And do not keep your hand neither tied to your neck, nor spread it out fully, lest you end up liable and regretful. 30. Your Regulator expands the provision for whomever The One accords, and restricts it. The One is fully Informed, Observant of The One’s servants. 31. And do not kill your children for fear of poverty. The One provide for them, and for you. Killing them is a terrible crime. 32. And do not come near adultery. It is immoral, and a bad way. 33. And do not kill the soul which The One To Serve/Allah has made sacred, except in the course of justice. If someone is killed unjustly, The One has
  • 6. given his next of kin certain authority. But he should not be excessive in killing, for he will be supported. 34. And do not go near the orphan’s property, except with the best of intentions, until he has reached his maturity. And honor your pledge, because the pledge involves responsibility. 35. And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with accurate scales. That is fair, and the best determination. 36. And do not occupy yourself with what you have no knowledge of. The hearing, and the sight, and the intellect/heart—all these will be questioned. Fa-Alif-Dal = to hurt in the heart, be affected with heart disease, be struck in the heart. Motion, putting in motion When said of fuel; It burned, burned up, burned brightly or fiercely, blazed, or flamed: and so when said of the heart; It became excited with ardour, or eagerness. Heart, mind/intellect, sharpness/acuteness of mind. 37. And do not walk proudly on earth. You can neither pierce the earth, nor can you match the mountains in height. 38. The evil of all these is disliked by your Regulator. 39. That is some of the wisdom your Regulator has revealed to you. Do not set up with The One To Serve/Allah to serve another, or else you will be thrown in Hell, rebuked and banished. 40. Has your Regulator favored you with sons, while choosing for The One- self daughters from among the Powerful Agents? You are indeed saying a terrible thing. 41. The One has explained in this Quran in various ways, that they may remember, but it only adds to their rebellion.
  • 7. 42. Say, “If there were others to serve with The One, as they say, they would have sought a way to the Regulator of the trellis.” 43. The Performing One. The One is exalted, far above what they say, greatly Exalted. 44. Perform for The One the seven skies, all the multiplicity and the earth, and everything in them. There is none but perform in appreciation of The One, but you do not comprehend the performance. The One is indeed forbearing and forgiving. 45. When you read the Quran, The One made known the difference between you and those who are not convinced in the End Day to avoid concealment. 46. And The One placed over their hearts covering, lest they understand it, and heaviness in their ears. And when you study/mention your Regulator in the Quran alone, they turn their backs restive. Thaal-Kaf-Ra = to remember/commemorate/recollect, study in order to remember, remind, bear in mind, mindful, mention/tell/relate, magnify/praise, admonish/warn (e.g. dhikra is the 2nd declenation and it is stronger than dhikr), preach, extol, give status. nobility/eminence/honour, fame, good report, cause of good reputation, means of exaltation. Male/man/masculine (dhakar, dual - dhakarain, plural - dhukur). Waw-Ha-Dal = to be one, alone, unique, unparalleled, remain lowly, be apart, assert the unity. waahidun - cardinal, number one, single. wahda - alone. 47. The One know well what they listen to, when they listen to you, as they conspire, when the extremists say, “You only follow a man bewitched.” 48. Note what they compared you to. They are lost, and unable to find a way. 49. And they say, “When we have become bones and fragments, shall we really be resurrected as a new creation?”
  • 8. 50. Say, “Even if you become rocks or iron. 51. Or some substance, which, in your minds, is even harder.” Then they will say, “Who will restore us?” Say, “The One who originated you the first time.” Then they will nod their heads at you, and say, “When will it be?” Say, “Perhaps it will be soon.” 52. On the Day when The One calls you, you will respond with The One’s praise; and you will realize that you have stayed only a little. 53. Tell My servants to say what is best. Sceptic mind sows discord among them. Sceptic mind is to man a clear enemy. 54. Your Regulator knows you best. If The One accords, The One will have mercy on you; and if The One accords, The One will punish you. The One did not end you as their advocate. 55. Your Regulator knows well everyone in the universe and the earth. The One has given some bearer of big news/prophets advantage over others, and to Daud The One gave the Zabur. 56. Say, “Call upon those you claim besides The One. They have no power to relieve your adversity, nor can they change it.” 57. Those they call upon are themselves seeking means of access to their Regulator, vying to be nearer, and hoping for The One’s mercy, and fearing The One’s punishment. The punishment of your Regulator is to be dreaded.
  • 9. 58. There is no city but The One will destroy before the Day of Resurrection, or punish it with a severe punishment. This is inscribed in the Book. 59. Nothing prevents The One from sending miraculous indicators, except that the ancients called them lies. The One gave Thamood the she-camel, a visible indicator, but they mistreated her. The One do not send the indicator except to instill the deterence. 60. The One said to you that your Regulator encompasses mankind. The One did not make the vision The One showed you, except as a test for the people, and the dispute is accursed in the Quran. The One frighten them, but it only increases their defiance. 61. When The One said to the Powerful Agents, “abide by Adam,” they abided, except for Instinctive mind/Iblis. it said, “shall I submit before someone You created from the elements?” 62. He said, “do You see this one whom You have honored more than me? If You reprieve me until the Day of Resurrection, I will bring his descendants under my sway, except for a few.” 63. The One said, “Be gone! Whoever of them follows you—Hell is your reward, an ample reward.”
  • 10. 64. “And entice whomever of them you can with your voice, and rally against them your cavalry and your infantry, and share with them in wealth and children, and make promises to them.” But Sceptic mind promises them nothing but delusion. 65. “As for My devotees, you have no authority over them.” Your Regulator is an adequate Guardian. 66. Your Regulator is The One who propels for you the ships at sea, that you may seek of The One’s bounty. The One is towards you Most Merciful. 67. When harm afflicts you at sea, that you call, except The One only. But when The One saves you to land, you turn away. The human being is ever ungrateful. 68. Are you confident that The One will not cause a track of land to cave in beneath you, or unleash a tornado against you, and then you find no protector? 69. Or are you confident that The One will not return you to it once again, and unleash a hurricane against you, and drown you for your defiance? Then you will find no avenger against The One. 70. The One have honored the mankind, and carried them on land and sea, and provided them with good things, and greatly favored them over many of The One created.
  • 11. 71. On the Day when The One call every people with their leader. Whomever is given his record in his right hand—these will read their record, and they will not be wronged one bit. 72. But whoever is blind in this, he will be blind in the Hereafter, and further astray from the way. 73. They almost lured you away from what The One has revealed to you, so that you would invent something else in The One name. In that case, they would have taken you for a friend. 74. Had The One not given you stability, you might have inclined towards them a little. 75. Then The One would have made you taste double in life, and double at death; then you would have found for yourself no helper against The One. 76. They almost provoked you, to expel you from the land. In that case, they would not have lasted after you, except briefly. 77. The conduct of the messengers The One sent before you—you will find no change in The One’s rules. 78. Carry out review/discussion at the decline of the sun, until the darkness of the night; and the Quran at dawn. The Quran at dawn is witnessed.
  • 12. 79. And keep vigil during parts of the night with it an additional for you, perhaps your Regulator will raise you to a laudable position. ha-Jiim-Dal = to sleep watch, remain awake. hajjada - to awake from sleep, pray in the night. ahjad - to lay the neck upon the ground (camel). tohajjad - remain awake. Nuun-Fa-Lam = give spoil, gift, voluntary gift, accession/addition, something that exceeds the original, a deed beyond what is obligatory. 80. And say, “My Regulator, lead me in through an entry of truth, and lead me out through an exit of truth, and grant me from You a supporting power.” 81. And say, “The truth has come, and falsehood has banished; for falsehood is bound to banish.” 82. The One send down in the Quran healing and mercy for those who are convinced, but it increases the extremists only in loss. 83. When The One blesses the human being, he turns away and distances himself. But when adversity touches him, he is in despair. 84. Say, “Each does according to his disposition. Your Regulator knows best who is better guided in the way.” 85. And they ask you about the inspiration/soul(Ruh). Say, “The inspiration/soul(Ruh) belongs to the domain of my Regulator; and you were not given except little knowledge.” 86. If The One accords, The One could take away what The One revealed to you. Then you will find for yourself no protecting guardian against The One.
  • 13. 87. Except through a mercy from your Regulator. The One’s favors upon you have been great. 88. Say, “If mankind and Invisibles came together to produce the like of this Quran, they could never produce the like of it, even if they backed up one another.” 89. The One have displayed for mankind in this Quran every kind of similitude, but most people insist on denying the truth. 90. And they said, “We will not be convinced in you unless you make a spring burst from the ground for us. 91. Or you have a garden of palms and vines; then cause rivers to gush pouring through them. 92. Or make the sky fall on us in pieces, as you claim, or bring The One To Serve/Allah and the Powerful Agents before us. 93. Or you possess a house of gold. Or you ascend into the sky. Even then, we will not be convinced in your ascension, unless you bring down for us a book that we can read.” Say, “Perform be my Regulator. Am I anything but a human messenger?” 94. Nothing prevented the people from be convinced, when guidance has come to them, except that they said, “Did The One To Serve/Allah send a human messenger?”
  • 14. 95. Say, “If there were Powerful Agents on earth, walking around in peace, The One would have sent down to them from heaven a Powerful Agents as messenger.” 96. Say, “The One To Serve/Allah is enough witness between you and me. The One is fully aware of The One’s servants, and The One sees them well.” 97. Whomever The One To Serve/Allah guides is the guided one. And whomever The One leaves astray—for them you will find no protectors apart from The One. And The One will gather them on the Day of Resurrection, on their faces, blind, dumb, and deaf. Their abode is Hell; whenever it abates, The One intensifies the blaze for them. 98. This is their repayment for having blasphemed against The One’s revelations, and having said, “shall we, when we have become bones and fragments, be resurrected as a new creation?” 99. Do they not consider that The One To Serve/Allah has created the heavens and the earth, is able to create the likes of them? The One has assigned for them a term, in which there is no doubt. But the extremists persist in denying the truth. 100. Say, “If you possessed the treasuries of my Regulator’s mercy, you would have withheld them, for fear of spending.” The human being has always been stingy.
  • 15. 101. The One gave Musa nine clear indicators—ask the bonded people/(Israel). When he went to them, The Wicked said to him, “I think that you, Musa, are bewitched.” 102. He said, “You know that none sent these down except the Regulator of the universe and the earth—eye openers; and I think that you, The Wicked, are doomed.” 103. He resolved to scare them off the land, but The One drowned him, and those with him, altogether. 104. After him, The One said to the bonded people/Israel, “Stay on earth, and when the promise of the Hereafter arrives, The One will bring you all together.” 105. With the truth The One sent it down, and with the truth it descended. And The One sent you only as a bearer of good news and a warner. 106. A Quran which The One unfolded gradually, that you may recite to the people over time. And The One revealed it in stages. 107. Say, “be convinced in it, or not convinced.” Those who were given knowledge before it, when it is recited to them, they fall to their chins, submitting. 108. And they say, “Perform for your Regulator. The promise of our Regulator is fulfilled.” 109. And they fall to their chins, weeping, and it adds to their humility.
  • 16. 110. Say, “Call The One To Serve/Allah, or call The Beneficient. Whichever reality you use, to The One belong the Best Realities.” And be neither loud in your review/discussion/prayer, nor silent in it, but follow a course in between. Instruction for Solah? -yes, how to proceed with review and discussion -The tells you how to do review and discussion -The One doesn’t tell what to review or discuss -that’s purely your own prerogative -its your life -you run it the best way you can 111. And say, “Gratitude be to The One To Serve/Allah, who has not begotten a son, nor has The One a partner in sovereignty, nor has The One an ally out of weakness, and glorify The Glorious.” And? -this is to finish the review and discussion -by praising and showing gratitude to The One -and declaring The One has no son -no partner and no ally for weakness -magnify The One with all magnificance
