Assist the HR Manager with all human resource activities to include employment, compensation,
labor relations, benefits, and training and development.
Position the role of Business Partner as an integral part of the designated business location by
developing effective working relationships, influencing senior management team on their
personal style and the development and delivery of their people plans in support of the
achievement of the business area and HR strategies. Ensure that matters which cannot be
resolved or are delayed should be escalated to the Senior Manager HR Services & Benefits or
Head of HR. Act as a link between the designated business area and all sections of the HR
department.
Equip the departmental management with appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively
manage their people in line with their people plans e.g. performance management, absence
management, leave management.
Facilitate the creation of an implementation and communication plan into the local business area
that achieves the agreed deliverables. Provide insight about designated business area which can
assist in creation and development of HR Initiatives and development
Provide support and facilitate the on boarding of new joiners in terms of contract signing, bank
accounts, visa stamping, facilitating induction and other activities. Proper liaison with the PR
section for visa processing and medicals for the staff.
Working in partnership with the line management to manage employee relations issues. Escalate
matters to the Senior HR management and assist in low level disciplinary actions such as

implement all new and revised policies. Oversee the planning and implementation of changes
required including developments to policy and procedure; ensuring that significant changes are
communicated to line managers and Directors in the most appropriate manner.

Manager HR Services & Benefits, to ensure cohesive and coordinated services across the
designated business area.
3. Maintain, develop and create employee filing systems both manual and electronic. Ensure file
safety and access of the same to be granted only to authorize personnel. Database to be
maintained with regards to location of files and reason for files that are out of the designated
locations in terms of current location and personnel currently handling the file with reason.
Collate and execute all requests from the designated business area. Create and maintain log of
requests received and processed with date of request receipt and date of request completion.
Maintain time and attendance details for all staff in the designated Business Area. Ensure that
automated attendance records are downloaded weekly and reports are forwarded to location
managers / directors with reference to late coming staff, staff who are absent or not marking
their attendance. Any discrepancy should be brought to notice of Senior Manager HR Services
and Benefits for updating.
Maintain leave details for the staff and ensure that data is entered in the required formats and
software’s. Changes in leave details should be recorded, Leave settlements to be created in a
timely manner with appropriate reminders provided to the line to ensure timely processing of
activities.
Payroll officer to be provided with timely data and documents in terms of leave settlements,
ticket allowance, mobile allowances, new joiners, absconders and any issue that will affect the
payroll.
Ensure that off boarding of staff is done in a timely manner (maximum two weeks) with focus on
final settlement, visa cancellation and staff exit.
Ensure that any and all issues that can lead to problematic situation to be escalated to the Senior
Manager HR Services & Benefits as a proactive rather than reactive measure.
Supported the rolling of SAP environment for HR module in the organization; database entry,
mapping of data, testing & review, and performing live check on the generated reports.
