Branch Development Department as Premises Engineer
Soneri Bank is one of the well growing bank in Pakistan having a branch network of 250+ branches
country wide. Being a Premises Engineer of Branch Development Department, my core responsibility is
to take care of vast expansion plan of establishing new branches on pan Pakistan basis through
construction of new branches / offices as well as complete processing of acquiring of places for branches
/ offices.
As a Premises Engineer mainly involved in acquiring of premises and construction / planning and
engineering supervision contracts of Pan Pakistan Branches / Projects, alongside, my responsibilities
include search and acquired site for new branches, monitoring the consultancy supervision contracts of
the Architects/Engineers & maintenance contracts involved in designing supervising the technical and
contractual details of the construction of projects and maintenance of branches as well regional offices
varying from Infrastructure to building construction and amenities related administrative matters of all
regional offices including Civil, Electrical, HVAC along with interior-Finishes works as well as design &
arrange power infrastructure with backup support (Generator) and monitoring & solving day by day
problems for smooth running of operation also coordinate with IT for their infrastructure. I have been
assigned with key responsibilities for managing the execution of works preparation of budget (CAPEX &
OPEX) for in context with the requirements of various infrastructural projects.
In addition, I have also been proactively engage in preparing the Budget for annual renovation /
maintenance of projects, purchasing of assets with the coordination of finance and monitor the utilization
of approved budget, transfer & disposal of Bank’s assets, pre-qualification procedures for consultants,
contractors& vendors, comprehensive reporting protocols as per Soneri Bank standards of issuing
cumulative CVI projects progress and monthly management reports, review and preparation of technical
evaluations, recommendations for award of various infrastructure and building contracts, preparing
necessary documentations and approvals to transfer completed units to Property Handover and
Facilitation Department and after that support them for smooth running of business.

• Project Management from Bank's side over Renovation/ Construction of all major/small
branches and offices.
• Preparation / checking of Layout plans & BOQs/estimates for renovation & construction
projects in coordination with the consultants / Architects & Engineers/Quantity surveyors as
per Bank's requirement.
