5. ANALYSIS
• How does the school campus impact to the students’ learning?
A growing body of research has found that school facilities can have a profound
impact on both teacher and student outcomes. The school we have observed is
conducive for learning. Classrooms are well-ventilated, the lights and appliances are
functioning very well, and free from any disturbances. With respect to teachers,
school facilities affect teacher recruitment, retention, commitment, and effort. With
respect to students, school facilities affect health, behavior, engagement, learning, and
growth in achievement. Thus, without adequate facilities and resources, it is extremely
difficult to serve large numbers of children with complex needs. If there’s a good
environment, there is a greater chance of healthy learning outcomes.
6. REFLECTION
• Would you like to teach in the learning environment you have
just observed? Why? Why not?
Yes, because as we can see, the school is conducive for
learning. The facilities were provided for the students’ needs.
The learners are safe and secured. Most importantly, we have
observed that the population of students shows that it really is
a favorable one.
