my mother, “ang batang
kumalakalam ang sikmura,
tiyak lumilipad din ang utak
at walang pokus sa aral”.
This school facility is
important for the food
security of the students so
that they can focus with their

Observation Report
Analyze
• How do the school campus and the classroom in particular impact the learning of the
students going to school?
Name of the School Observed: President Ramon Magsaysay State University
Location of the School: Palanginan, Iba, Zambales
Date of Visit: October 8, 2021
9 | P a g e
We all know that the different school facilities have a contribution to the learning
process of the students. The classroom serves as home of knowledge where teachers act as
parents and facilitator. The teacher is the one responsible in making the classroom a
conducive learning environment to ensure the success of every students. The school
environment where the students are enrolled influence their personality, behavior,
perspective, health, growth, and learning. And based on my observation, the school campus
that I observed, was well equipped with proper facilities that will be beneficial for the
students as well as for the teachers. And I can say that the campus provides a conducive
learning environment for the students.
• How does this relate to your knowledge of child and adolescent development? How
does this relate to your knowledge of facilitating learning?
What I remember the most, is that the environment plays a huge role in shaping or
molding a child. Just like in school, if the school offers a conducive learning environment
it will surely mold a competent, skilled, and intelligent student, because the environment
affects the overall learning process as well as the mental, physical, social, and spiritual
growth of the learners. And when the school offers a well - equipped and proper facilities
it will ensure the success of every students because school facilities are part of holistic
approach in improving the learning environment and balancing academic with other
important extra-curricular activities. And in school, the teachers are the so-called “more
knowledgeable others”, who has a higher level of knowledge than the learner, who will
give instructions, facilitate, and guide the students.
REFLECT
1. Would you like to teach in the school environment you just observed? Why? Why not?
Yes, if I would be given a chance to teach in the school I have observed, I will not be
hesitant to say “yes”, because this school creates a conducive learning environment that
will surely mold and develop the students holistically. And I can see that this school will
help me to become competent, become passionate and become one of the quality teachers
who will exercise professionalism inside and outside the campus.
2. What kind of school campus is conducive to learning?
The school campus plays a major role in teaching and learning process. We can say
that a school campus is conducive to learning when there are enough facilities that is well
managed and maintained, when it has a quality teacher and when it addresses the physical,
10 | P a g e
social, and psychological aspects of the students. And, if the campus can develop the
student holistically, then we can consider that the school campus is conducive to learning.
3. What kind of classroom is conducive to learning?
A classroom that is conducive to learning, is a classroom that was built with love,
passion, care and well-planned. A classroom must have a proper ventilation, good and
natural lighting, enough space for the students, has a good ambiance and a free from any
distractions. Aside from that, a classroom that is conducive to learning, is a classroom that
feels like home, that makes you feel comfortable, welcome, and accepted regardless of
your race, color, gender, and social status.
4. In the future, how can you accomplish your answer in number 3?
In the future, I can accomplish to have a conducive learning environment by knowing
how to be passionate with my profession, how to become dedicated and committed in
learning new things and how to exercise utmost professionalism inside and outside the
classroom. I must set goals and objectives in making the classroom a better place for the
students to develop and enhance their skills as well as to motivate them to learn new
things. If I learned those things, I could build a classroom that is well-equipped and
conducive to learning, that molds the future professionals of the country.
5. Write your additional learnings and insight here.
I have learned the importance and roles of different school facilities to the learning
process of the students and my role as a facilitator of learning, that as a teacher I am
responsible to make a conducive learning environment for my students. And in the future,
all the knowledge that I gained in studying this topic will be applied, I will ensure to build
a conducive learning environment for my students to help them achieve their goals and
become successful in life.

Observation Report Analyze • How do the school campus and the classroom in particular impact the learning of the students going to school? Name of the School Observed: President Ramon Magsaysay State University Location of the School: Palanginan, Iba, Zambales Date of Visit: October 8, 2021
  • 9. 9 | P a g e We all know that the different school facilities have a contribution to the learning process of the students. The classroom serves as home of knowledge where teachers act as parents and facilitator. The teacher is the one responsible in making the classroom a conducive learning environment to ensure the success of every students. The school environment where the students are enrolled influence their personality, behavior, perspective, health, growth, and learning. And based on my observation, the school campus that I observed, was well equipped with proper facilities that will be beneficial for the students as well as for the teachers. And I can say that the campus provides a conducive learning environment for the students. • How does this relate to your knowledge of child and adolescent development? How does this relate to your knowledge of facilitating learning? What I remember the most, is that the environment plays a huge role in shaping or molding a child. Just like in school, if the school offers a conducive learning environment it will surely mold a competent, skilled, and intelligent student, because the environment affects the overall learning process as well as the mental, physical, social, and spiritual growth of the learners. And when the school offers a well - equipped and proper facilities it will ensure the success of every students because school facilities are part of holistic approach in improving the learning environment and balancing academic with other important extra-curricular activities. And in school, the teachers are the so-called “more knowledgeable others”, who has a higher level of knowledge than the learner, who will give instructions, facilitate, and guide the students. REFLECT 1. Would you like to teach in the school environment you just observed? Why? Why not? Yes, if I would be given a chance to teach in the school I have observed, I will not be hesitant to say “yes”, because this school creates a conducive learning environment that will surely mold and develop the students holistically. And I can see that this school will help me to become competent, become passionate and become one of the quality teachers who will exercise professionalism inside and outside the campus. 2. What kind of school campus is conducive to learning? The school campus plays a major role in teaching and learning process. We can say that a school campus is conducive to learning when there are enough facilities that is well managed and maintained, when it has a quality teacher and when it addresses the physical,
  • 10. 10 | P a g e social, and psychological aspects of the students. And, if the campus can develop the student holistically, then we can consider that the school campus is conducive to learning. 3. What kind of classroom is conducive to learning? A classroom that is conducive to learning, is a classroom that was built with love, passion, care and well-planned. A classroom must have a proper ventilation, good and natural lighting, enough space for the students, has a good ambiance and a free from any distractions. Aside from that, a classroom that is conducive to learning, is a classroom that feels like home, that makes you feel comfortable, welcome, and accepted regardless of your race, color, gender, and social status. 4. In the future, how can you accomplish your answer in number 3? In the future, I can accomplish to have a conducive learning environment by knowing how to be passionate with my profession, how to become dedicated and committed in learning new things and how to exercise utmost professionalism inside and outside the classroom. I must set goals and objectives in making the classroom a better place for the students to develop and enhance their skills as well as to motivate them to learn new things. If I learned those things, I could build a classroom that is well-equipped and conducive to learning, that molds the future professionals of the country. 5. Write your additional learnings and insight here. I have learned the importance and roles of different school facilities to the learning process of the students and my role as a facilitator of learning, that as a teacher I am responsible to make a conducive learning environment for my students. And in the future, all the knowledge that I gained in studying this topic will be applied, I will ensure to build a conducive learning environment for my students to help them achieve their goals and become successful in life.
