I have known Adam for two years as an academic advisor and instructor. From the
time of our first meeting, I have been impressed with his drive to succeed and his
willingness to work to achieve his goals. It is because of his motivation and his
success in my Income Tax classes (Individual and Corporate)that I selected him to
serve as a large-class teaching assistant for Financial Accounting in the spring,
2014 semester.
Adam’s tasks in this position will include: taking attendance, distributing
materials to a class of 120 students, tutoring, and grading, Since these positions
are filled by primarily undergraduate students at East StroudsburgUniversity,
instructors must be very confident of the skills and reliability of the teaching
assistants. I am certain that Adam will fulfill this role professionally and with
minimal supervision. I am also sure that he will carry his technical skills and
