years
 First commercial radio station of USA started
broadcasting in 1919
 Audio advertisement expenditure in annual
worldwide terms is 31.7 billion (Approx.) in 2020
 Audio marketing refers to activity of making audio
contents mainly in the form of radio shows, smart
home assistant skills or podcasts

Pros of Audio Marketing:
 Convenience: One can enjoy the audio content while
doing their other work, so it is very convenient
 Accessibility: It is easy to access, one only needs a
smartphone for listening to a podcast and nowadays
smart home assistant are in trends, their demands are
increasing
Cons of Audio Marketing:
 Lack of visual clues: In video contents one will not
be able to know the facial expression and nonverbal
gestures, because of this there can be lack of
understanding leading to lack of interest
 No Direct CTA: During audio experience listeners
are not engaged with their device, so there is a
problem in Direct Call to Action in clicking on any
link or filling any forms

 There is a prediction that in near future we will have

to be a big shift which will be very useful and profitable

 Alexa Skill is an application that is voice enabled which
can do various specific functions
 It makes your work easy and time saving
 Function like playing any songs, news, etc. is now only a
command away from you, one has to just tell Alexa for
this and will Alexa will get it done
 Making such a specific device that is voice enabled and
smart is because of encouragement of Amazon besides
having limited adoption and support
 Market of Alexa Skill is expected to grow in an
increasing order in near future

million users which will lead to create more than 15

preferring to purchase the product that was advertised
by that format
 Podcast that are of up-to 5 minutes are more liked by
user as people are always looking for the quick,
concise and relevant information

vehicles and connected cars, now companies have
many valuable marketing opportunities for them
 Soon they will be able to earn a great profit using
