GharDo! is a mobile app that aims to bridge the gap between the large supply of vacant homes and high demand for rentals in India by connecting landlords and tenants. It uses algorithms and data analytics to recommend rental options based on users' preferences. The app is free to use initially but will later offer premium features for a subscription fee. It aims to list over 1 lakh rental properties across major cities in its first year and generate Rs. 1 crore in revenue. The opportunities in the residential rental market are large due to rapid urbanization but establishing trust remains a key challenge.
