1. The host greets guests within 5-8 seconds of arrival, asks how many guests there are and if there is a wait, takes their name.
2. The section captain greets guests, hands them menus, offers water. The section steward then greets and serves water.
3. When ready to order, the captain checks if guests are ready and suggests dishes like the soup of the day and signature nachos. The captain repeats the order back and enters it into the system.
4. The steward brings out the food, greeting and announcing each dish. The captain checks on the soup. For dessert, the captain suggests signature options and confirms the choice.

1. Sequence of service :
As soon as the guest enters our restaurant then :
The host part :
The host greets the guests within the time span of 5 – 8 seconds { greeting upon the time of
the day { good afternoon , evening } ,
The host :
Good afternoon / evening sir / mam , welcome to ovenfresh .
{ eye contact very necessary with a smiling face. Needs to ask guest if they are at the
restaurant for dining ,if so then the host needs to ask :}
The host : “ sir / mam ,how many of you for the dinner tonight .”
.if there is waiting then .
The host :
“ may, I have your name please sir / mam.as there is a short wait of 15 / 20 minutes .”
When the host is ready to sit the guest then :
The host : calls out guests name :
“ mr. alex , your table is ready .”
& should say
“ hope you have a delightful dining experience with us .”
Then by saying he should proceed towards the host desk .
Then the section captain comes into role :
Here the captain greets the guests by the time of the day with a smiling face
Section captain :
“ very good afternoon sir/ evening sir/ good afternoon mam .
& hands over menu cards to them .
At the same time the captain would ask his guests :
“ would you like to have flavour or spring water .”
Immediately after this the section steward comes in contact with the guests .
2. The section steward will then go on the table :
He will wish the guests as per the time of the day ,
Section steward :
“Good afternoon / evening sir / mam .”
then he will serve the water as per guests saying .
Then when the guests are ready to order their food ,the captain goes to take their order .
The captain :
“ Hi, hope you are ready with your order sir / mam.”
If the guests ask the captain to suggest some of the dishes starting from soup & starters ;
then
Then captain says :
“ how about trying our soup of the day, that’s smoked red pepper soup .”
& in starters “ how about trying our mouth melting signature nachos .” { then here the
captains explains it in brief .}
After taking the order from the following table the captain should then confirm the order
with the guest by saying :
The captain :
“ sir / mam , ,may I repeat your order , you have ordered for smoked red pepper soup 3 ,
signature nachos 2 portions . thank you .”
Then he punches the order in our system.
Now the steward how is doing food pick up will be in action :
As he comes to the table with their food ,then :
The steward { food pick up} will greet the guests :
“ good afternoon / evening sir / mam .”
Then he will announce the name of the dish { soup } .
“smoke red pepper soup .”
as the soup is about to finish ,here the captain will go & take the feed back for the same
from the guests .
3. when the guests order for desserts then
captain should suggest our signature desserts from our menu . keeping in mind the taste of
the guests .
when the guests goes as per captains choice then ,the captain should say :
“ thank you very much , iam quit sure you would love it .”
When the guests finishes the dessert the captain should take the feedback for the same ,by
saying ,
The captain :
” hope you liked the dessert , or iamquit sure our signature dessert might have satisfied
your sweet tooth ”. Acknowledge the guest & say “ thank you “ .
The captain :
“ anything else that I would get for you sir / mam .”
When the final bill is presented to the guest ,
The captain says :
“ thank you , have a great day or good night .” with smiling face .
