impact assessment, including specialist
studies, in support of regulatory
approvals for the 470km long gas
transmission pipeline proposed from

Abbot Point Coal Terminal
and Missing Link GAP50 rail
expansion, QLD
RPS is providing extensive and often
complex surveying services to assist
in the expansion of the Abbot Point
coal terminal to 50 mtpa and the
missing railway link from Goonyella.
These multi-billion dollar projects will
double export capacity through the
terminal by mid 2012.
Airport Link, QLD
RPS is the principal urban designer and
landscape architect for Airport Link in
Brisbane, Australia’s largest PPPs and one
of the nation’s largest road infrastructure
projects. Responsibilities included the
design of key urban design elements such
as portals, noise barriers and retaining
walls as well as extensive parklands,
wetlands and linear open space corridors.
RPS also provided extensive pre-design
survey services for the project route.
PerthtoMandurahRailway,WA
As principal environmental consultant
to the PublicTransport Authority,
RPS provided environmental impact
assessment of the proposed rail
alignment and preliminary site
investigations. From 2004 until project
completion, RPS was the specialist

the New MetroRail City Project which

NSW
