Introduction
Cleaning is the most important and primary
aspect of housekeeping. It is a process of
removing dirt, dust and grime by using
methods such as dusting, shaking, sweeping,
mopping, washing or pol- ishing. There are
certain areas you may clean daily, whereas
you may clean other areas occasionally or
once /twice in a year.
• Guest Rooms:
• Make the beds and change the bed linens.
• Replace used towels with fresh ones.
• Dust all surfaces, including furniture and fixtures.
• Bathrooms:
• Clean and disinfect all bathroom surfaces, including sinks, countertops, and
fixtures.
• Clean and sanitize the toilet.
• Hallways and Corridors:
• Vacuum or sweep and mop the floors.
• Dust any artwork or decorative elements.
• Ensure fire exits and emergency pathways are clear.
Frequency of Cleaning:

Resturant and Dinning Areas:
•Clear and clean tables after each use.
•Vacuum or sweep and mop the floors.
•Ensure condiments and tableware are clean and stocked.
Daily Cleaning
1. Making beds and changing linens
2. Cleaning bathrooms and restocking toiletries
3. Vacuuming carpets and mopping floors
4. Dusting surfaces and polishing furniture
5. Emptying trash and recycling bins
6. Cleaning mirrors and windows
7. Sanitizing surfaces and objects that are frequently touched, such as
doorknobs, light switches, and remote controls.
These daily cleaning tasks are typically performed by housekeeping
staff on a regular basis to ensure that the hotel rooms and public areas
are clean, comfortable, and safe for guests.
• Computer Networks basically used in sharing the information
or data.
• It also used to inter, intra and extra connect with each other
whatever the location is such as building, city, nation or
country.
• Computer network works on basis of topologies and technical
communication barriers which flows the effective information
for best visible growth.
• It also includes new developments according today’s era.
• Internet, server etc are the example of computer networks.
