Accountable for all MEP scope in all JAM Group project plan worth of 3,000
Million Dhs. which consists of a various types of projects as High rise Tower
Buildings, Shopping Malls, Hotels, Auto Showrooms, Auto Workshops, etc.
Assigned Responsibilities:
• Understanding and review of Project concept, design drawings and
specifications to insure compliance to standards, regulations and quality
requirement.
• Responsible for tracking key project milestones to meet the needs,
coordinating with Project Managers, Consultants and Contractors to
ensure effective execution of the project.
• Study & review the detailed design, tender documents of projects to
ensure completeness so that best of the bidder is awarded with most
competitive terms & disputes free,
• Guide the preparation and awarding of the Provisional Sum items in
compliance with project specifications and within the allowed budget.
• Monitor technical and shop drawings submittals for the project to ensure
compliance to project specifications, and provide the necessary technical
support for the project manager.
• As necessary, use resource estimation methodologies, risk management,
budget management, demand management, Monitor and take actions to
ensure that the project execution in all parameters will accomplish
completion with Quality within Cost, budget and Time frame.
• Reviewing regularly approvals for selected materials & shop drawings of
sample items & mock-ups etc. to achieve full compliance and avoid
delays.
2. • Attending meetings periodically with Consultants, Contractors and
preparing weekly progress report of the job.
• Verifying the variations for Addition, Omission & time implications to
take in time corrective measures.
• Effectively supervise compliance to regulations & ensuring safe execution
so that the project does not default on any Authority regulations at any
point of time.
• Receive the program of work and attend to full compliance with it by
providing timely decision, anticipate and avoid obstructions and apply
recovery techniques or penalties.
• Seek advice from superiors and peers, and external experts, whenever
appropriate or available. Share experience and solutions with other
members of the team.
