2. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY CLIENT SIDE SCRIPTING
?The client-side environment used to run scripts is usually a browser. The processing
takes place on the end users computer. The source code is transferred from the
web server to the users computer over the internet and run directly in the browser.
The scripting language needs to be enabled on the client computer.
CLIENT-SIDE PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES
Languages are almost always used in the context of their frameworks, which make quick work of
complicated code with libraries of pre-packaged, shareable code, and lots of add-ons. Your

HTML and CSS: These are the core building blocks of any site. HTML dictates a site’s organization

HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) is the most basic building block of the Web. It defines the
meaning and structure of web content. Other technologies besides HTML are generally used to
describe a web page's appearance/presentation (CSS) or functionality/behavior (JavaScript).
"Hypertext" refers to links that connect web pages to one another, either within a single website or
between websites. Links are a fundamental aspect of the Web. By uploading content to the Internet
and linking it to pages created by other people, you become an active participant in the World
Wide Web.
CSS
CSS stands for "Cascading Style Sheet." Cascading style sheets are used to format the layout of Web
pages. They can be used to define text styles, table sizes, and other aspects of Web pages that
previously could only be defined in a page's HTML.
CSS helps Web developers create a uniform look across several pages of a Web site. Instead of
defining the style of each table and each block of text within a page's HTML, commonly used styles
need to be defined only once in a CSS document. Once the style is defined in cascading style sheet,
it can be used by any page that references the CSS file. Plus, CSS makes it easy to change styles
across several pages at once. CSS gives Web developers more exact control over how Web pages
will look than HTML does. This is why most Web pages today incorporate cascading style sheets.

5. JAVA SCRIPT
JavaScript (JS) is a lightweight interpreted or just-in-time compiled programming language
with first-class functions. While it is most well-known as the scripting language for Web
pages, many non-browser environments also use it, such as Node.js, Apache Couch DB
and Adobe Acrobat. JavaScript is a prototype-based, multi-paradigm, dynamic language,
supporting object-oriented, imperative, and declarative (e.g. functional programming)
styles.
JavaScript runs on the client side of the web, which can be used to design / program how
the web pages behave on the occurrence of an event. JavaScript is an easy to learn and
also powerful scripting language, widely used for controlling web page behaviour.
JavaScript can function as both a procedural and an object oriented language. Objects
are created programmatically in JavaScript, by attaching methods and properties to
otherwise empty objects at run time, as opposed to the syntactic class definitions
common in compiled languages like C++ and Java. Once an object has been
constructed it can be used as a blueprint (or prototype) for creating similar objects.
