propelled by one or more electric
motors,using energy stored in rechargeable
batteries.

late 19th century and early 20th century.

• As compared to the internal combustion engines the electric vehicles are eco-friendly
vehicles.
• These vehicles are noise free with out any noise pollution.
• Now-a-days the pollution increasing rapidly in metropolitan cities due to emissions
released by the internal combustion engines.

• Smooth & noise free operation.
• Relatively high speed than any other alternative fuel vehicles.
• Carbon emissions is less.
• Relatively less weight than other vehicles.
• Enlarged safety.
• Due to the absence of engine there may be a increase in free space.

• Due to heavy number of battery cells there may be a release of heat form the
batteries.
• There may be a chance of blasting of batteries if there is any accident occurs.
• There may be a chance of fluctuations due to its less weight of the body.

13. FUTURE DEVELOPMENT
• There may be a chance of reducing the heat from the batteries effectively.
• We can reduce the cost of the vehicle. Increasing the production of
batteries.

14. CONCLUSION
By using of electrical vehicles pollution may be controlled to
the optimum level. Speed of the vehicle is increased. Due to
the absence of engine there will be no clutch and it will be
more easy to drive a vehicle with only a accelerator pedal.
The cost/km reduces to great extent
