A sense of style and modern design permeates the 17 guest rooms and 19 suites at Shiv Niwas Palace, Udaipur.
The hotel offers one of the most spacious and well-appointed accommodations in the city. All rooms have
period furniture, portraits and original miniature paintings and with private sitting areas. Room facilities include
air-conditioning, international direct dial telephone, satellite TV, Tea and coffee maker, safe locker, mini-bar.
Furnished in muted beige and white, the décor features delightful accents of red in the upholstery, which add a
bright cheer to the room. All rooms feature floor to ceiling windows, spacious walk-in wardrobes, well-
appointed work desks, en suite four-feature bathrooms and a separate seating area. Modern amenities such as
high speed Internet access, personal bar, LCD televisions and electronically controlled privacy blinds combine to
offer convenience and comfort.

suites
The Terrace Suite lives up to its name by
incorporating a large 20m² terrace with an outdoor

and marble walls create a truly luxurious
atmosphere.

suites
This is the second best category of room offered
by our hotel. As know as by the spacious
structure of the room with breathe taking views.

suites
This is the best category room we have with
separate dinning area, private bar, living area, round
bedrooms, and with view that have been never seen
before.

accommodating guests in the

33. DESCRIPTION
Food and Beverage Department (F&B) is responsible for maintaining
high quality of food and service, food costing, managing restaurants,
bars, etc.
Food and Beverage Service is the service of Food made in the Kitchen
and Drinks prepared in the Bar to the Customers (Guest) at the Food
& Beverage premises, which can be: Restaurants, Bars, Hotels,
Airlines, Cruise Ships, Trains, Companies, Schools, Colleges,
Hospitals, Prisons, Takeaway, etc.
34. PAANTYA
Paantya, (a Mewari word meaning ‘sitting in
line, in protocol’) is the multi-cuisine
restaurant, adorned with original paintings of
the Mewar School, gold latticework and
antique chandeliers. Due to the Palace’s
undulating topography, the restaurant is
elevated and provides a magnificent view of
the city. The Paantya offers a selection of
Continental, Mughlai, and authentic
Rajasthani cuisine.

35. THE POOL DECK
A candlelit dinner at the Pool Deck, with
soft strains of light instrumental music; it
makes for timeless perfect evening with
your loved one. During the day, a variety
of snacks and drinks can also be enjoyed at
the poolside.

and Dinner from 11:00 am till 10:30 pm.
36. TOPTERRACE
• At the Top Terrace of Shiv Niwas Palace,
overlooking the spectacular swimming pool,
small groups of between six to 30 guests
can enjoy a quiet dinner and breathtaking
views of Lake Pichola and its island-palaces.
• It’s a special venue, with its own private
spaces to set up a bar and a musicians’
corner: live music at The Top Terrace makes
it even more exclusive. On many events,
when The Pool Deck is overflowing with
guests, The Top Terrace provides its own
discreet space for a small group interaction,
a party within a party.
37. PANERA
Panera bar, with its authentic décor of
glass inlay work, huge chandeliers and
ornate mirrors, offers a wide selection of
snacks and drinks, and is by The Pool
Deck. The name ‘Panera’ is derived
from paani or water, and refers to the
storehouse for water and liquor in the
royal household.

38. PALKI KHANA
After a long walk through The City Palace
Museum, refresh yourself at the Palki
Khana or the Pavilion for Palanquins at
Manek Chowk. This European-style café
offers a relaxed and informal ambience.
The coffee bar and heritage liqueurs are
highly recommended. Relish a sumptuous
meal at a special price, packaged with the
Mewar Sound and Light Show.

TERRACE

restaurants of India, the Sunset Terrace

scenery. Live musicians add to the magic.

40. OVERALL EXPERIENCE
In H.K. Learned to make rooms, cleaning with
different agents, brought stores, recorded laundry.
In Kitchen worked in pantry & made various
sandwiches, juices and shakes.
In F&B did service & took order, billing of Cinnamon,
worked in banquets.
In F.O. Learned to take check-in, escorted guests,
worked on Fidelio, filled forms, welcoming, call
handling.
Overall learned a lot , the staff was very nice & made
me work as an employee. Built up a lot of confidence.
