Geographic’s Magazine front covers is

Font Types –A Serif font type is used for the Mast head
this is shared amongst all of the magazines. Even in its
earliest issues. Sans Serif font types area used for the
other pieces of text on the page such as cover lines.
Main Image – The main image is almost always directly in
the centre of the page, the reason for this is because
studies show that the centre of the page is where the eye
is most likely to look first.
Graphic Elements – All of the magazines have a yellow
border surrounding its outside, this was done to draw a
customers attention from far away. Now the yellow border
has become one of the staple branding symbols for the
company.
