Kelli VanHouten interned at Winter Park Construction in Maitland, Florida, where she managed a database of over 4,000 vendors. Her responsibilities included contacting vendors to obtain missing information, reminding them of upcoming deadlines, and organizing all vendor information. Winter Park Construction is a commercial construction general contractor that serves customers throughout Florida.

In the Work Place I… Am positive, enthusiastic and a problem solver by always smiling, eagerly asking what task I can perform next, helping with formatting/phrasing decisions, and answering vendor questions so my supervisors inbox remains less cluttered. Am realistic and willing to take on less than glamorous tasks by being willing to call over 100 less than pleasant contacts on a Friday afternoon and going back over the same information several times when a new task involving it was discovered. Keep my supervisor informed by taking the initiative every evening to print out an over view of what I accomplished in the day, the tasks completed from previous days, and the ones I plan on completing the next day I work.

11. Projects Created and sent to 4,000+ contacts through a program called SmartBid. Various memos and compilations of data on multiple PDF documents have been created as well. (The lines in the margins are not their on the actual form)
