  • The statement on the slide is very much true. Smart phones have affected so many aspects of life in a positive way. As you go through this presentation, you will see why.
  • Smart phones now allow people to do things such as surfing the internet, checking email, texting, etc literally anywhere they are. They allow us to communicate with people like never before, whether it be from social network sites or blogs. Smart phones are getting more and more features everyday thanks to apps made by developers. Now we can do almost anything wherever we are.
  • Smart phones have made communication so easy that it’s possible to make calls, send tweets/texts at any time of the day literally anywhere in the world.Smart phones make it easy to stay in touch with everyone you know. The uses of smart phones are increasing so fast. Now smart phones can be your navigation system in your car, your music/ movie player and so much more.
  • People are now able to do work where ever they are. This is due to the fact that people now have access to their emails, IM’s, facebook accounts, books, etc practically anywhere they are. Thanks to the internet Smart phones allow us to do research or send emails on the go.
  • Smart phonesallow you to put information about yourself on cyber space at any time ofthe day with the help of social tools such as Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, etc so that yourfriends know what you are up to.
  • Smart phones offer much of the functionality of the laptop. Nowadays classes can download interactive educational programs onto their phones. Students can use their smart phones to record parts of a lecture, make a quick voice note or take a video of a science experiment. Students can utilize the calendar function of their smart phone to stay organized.
  • Smart phones are experiencing very good sales even at times of harsh economic conditions. The smart phone market, unlike the computer industry, managed to defy the odds and set a record year of sales in 2009 and 2010.
  •  We are just at the beginning of a new wireless era where smart phones will become the standard device consumers will use to connect to  friends, the internet and the world at large. The share of smart phones as a proportion of overall device sales has increased to 29% for phone purchasers in the last six months.  Pew Research shows that 33% of mobile phone owners now access news via their mobiles phones. The smart phone is growing the category of mobile internet because the devices are small, portable and becoming more affordable according to Morgan Stanley research.
  • I think that people should now do research on how smart phones are affecting our daily lives so that we may know in what way the invention of the smart phone has affecting the way we live. The features of the average smart phone should also be researched so that we know what basic features every smart phone has. The way people tend to communicate on their smart phones should be researched so that we know whether people prefer to text, IM, email, etc.
  • I believe that the statement is true because smart phones have affected almost every aspect of life in a positive way. Whether it be productivity, social engagement or education; smart phones have affected the way we do our daily activities in a good way.
