A film overview in the form of a PowerPoint to show my film storyline

1. Film Overview

2. Basic Storyline
• The idea of the film is to create the idea of a man who is lazy has not much in his
life, his girlfriend he who is his boss at work has recently dumped him and kicked
him out and is living in a shabby bedsit and cycles to work each day because he
lost a lot of money and possessions when he moved out.
• He wakes us at 12:42pm and slaps his alarm with his mouth wide open and crawls
out of bed and puts his dressing gown on stumbling through the kitchen after
popping his toast in a note slips through the door saying his parents have been
taken hostage and he has to arrive at Piccadilly in London at 2am the next day
otherwise his parents will be killed.
• Mark’s trip begins when he pick’s up the phone to call his
friends. To complete a heist on the chain of bank’s in
Canary Wharf.

3. Basic Storyline Continued
• Using the underground and one of his friends being a top architect being
able to contain blue prints of certain buildings in the area.
• With suspense along the way of alarms set and quick moving action and
quick scenes.
• They eventually get the money and find his parents tied up in the back of a
van and them set free.
• He drives away and has parents and plans to get out the country to have a
break.
• But only to find the kidnapper opens the briefcase that the money was
traded in in the back of the fan to be stored with Stones and contain no
more value than the briefcase was worth.

4. My opening
• My opening for the film will just be from when Mark is in his room
sleeping and his alarm goes off, walks downstairs to get breakfast and
see’s a letter pushed through the door the letter will be read out as if
it is the kidnapper. It will then show Mark running
upstairs and starting a phone call to his friend. This
will be the end of the opening sequence.

5. Mark
• Mark as a stereotype is a lovesick, clumsy
character, he constantly struggles through life
letting things hit him hard he is stuck in the
same dead end job and has no plans for the
future or to have a better career he has spent
the last few months after losing his girlfriend
sitting at home watching Netflix and eating
unhealthy. His house is a mess and most of the
time he falls asleep watching a film until he is
forced to sleep until his eyes shut. Mark has
isolated himself ever since the breakup and felt
he was never good enough for anybody . Even
going to a house party and sitting on the sofa
alone. After a shock from the world Mark is
finally forced to make an impact on life and
make a change.
