Weekly News from WCUMC-10/07/2012 Sharing the transforming love of Jesus, across the street and around the world. "Not everyone who says Lord, Lord"“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom ofheaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is inheaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesyin your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name performmany miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away fromme, you evildoers!’" Matthew 7:21-23Kingdom living involves more than just using the right words. It takesfaithful, obedient thought and action. The Christian life and experience must always be personal but neverprivate. People need the integrity of word and deed in followers of JesusChrist. Our life must reflect what we affirm. Christians must be accountable toeach other. What we do as Christians matters. Do we want a Savior ... but not aLord.Next week– “The Poor You Will Always Have With You” – John 12:1-8, Pastor Rick Vinther, preaching
