We are lost. Pastor Rick VintherIn Pauls letter to the Ephesians, he admonishes them to not live theways of the world anymore (like the Gentiles)."... they base their lives on pointless thinking, and they are in the darkin their reasoning." Ephesians 4:17-18Paul reminds them that they [we] have learned a new way of living inChrist"... you didnt learn that sort of thing from Christ. Since you reallylistened to him and you were taught the truth is in Jesus, change theformer way of life that was part of the person you once were,corrupted by deceitful desires." Ephesians 4:20-22You are a new creation ... a new person in Christ."Instead, renew the thinking of your mind by the Spirit and clotheyourself with the new person created according to Gods image injustice and holiness." Ephesians 4:23-24Paul identifies five different sins we are to avoid.
