Weekly News from WCUMC-9/23/2012Sharing the transforming love of Jesus, across the street and around the world. "Greater Things Than These"“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I havebeen doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because Iam going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, sothat the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me foranything in my name, and I will do it." Matthew 5:13-16Too often we fall back on the secular expression, "Im only human" YetJesus tells us that we can do even greater things that he did. We shouldnever apologize for being human. Its what God designed us to be andwe should not feel or act "limited" by what the world believes we can orcant do.We are often limited by our lack of faith. We are only limited by ourlack of faith.Jesus did not say, " I will do whatever you ask". He said, "I will dowhatever you ask IN MY NAME".If we link ourselves to the power that Jesus offers, we can movemountains!Next week– “No Longer Servants, but Friends” – John 15:9-17, Rick Vinther, preaching
