Overview of the Programme:
Success of every organisation, whether in service sector or manufacturing sector,
whether cooperative or private, depends upon the effective and efficient utilisation of
human resources of the organisation. Dedicated and motivated human resource is an
asset of every organisation, and management of the human resource leads to success.
These days, more importance is given to increased productivity, improved quality and
lower cost in order to survive and sustain in the business and achieve the organisational
goals.
Management of Human Resources of the organisation is becoming more and more
complicated due to various factors. Due to rapid technological advancement and
innovations, requirement of specialised skills at short notice and comparatively for
shorter period is increasing. Engagement of employees on regular basis for a longer
period, sometimes, becomes not feasible. In order to control costs, increase
productivity and meet the human resource requirements in many support service areas,
job is carried out by out sourcing of human resources. However, legal compliance is
very much essential in case of outsourcing of human resources to minimize the
liabilities of the Organisation and ensure better industrial relations.
Objectives:
The broad objectives of the Programme are
(a)Identifying key areas of out sourcing
(b) Contract of employment –Legal compliances
(c) Features of the Contract Labour (R&A) Act 1970 & Rules
(d) Understand the obligation of Principal Employer in relation to Contract Labour
under PF Act 1952, ESI Act 1948, Employees Compensation Act 1923, and Minimum
Wages Act 1948.

(iv) Engaging contract employees for the required time
(v) Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act 1970 & Rules
(vi) Relevant provisions of Industrial Disputes Act, Factories Act, Shop and
Establishment Act, Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act –
Disciplinary proceedings

Cooperatives such as Dairy, Sugar, Spinning Mills
(b)HR Managers / Executives of District Cooperative Banks/ SCARD Banks
(c) HR Managers / Executives of Cooperative Dairy Federations, Marketing
Federations, Consumer Federations
(d)Officers in the Establishment /personnel Section of any Cooperative society
Duration and Dates: 3 days - 27-29 JULY 2015
Venue:
VAMNICOM, Pune. Stay and Boarding arrangements made for the participants in the
campus of the Institute.
Programme Fees:
Rs. 4500/- (Rupees four thousand five hundred only) per participant, which covers stay
and boarding, training material kit. The fees may be sent, on confirmation of the
nomination, by Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Director, VAMNICOM and
payable at Pune or by hand through the participant or may be paid by NEFT to V.M.
