Salzburg is the fourth largest city in Austria, known for its baroque architecture and as the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Some of its main attractions include the Salzburg Cathedral, Mirabell Palace and gardens, Mozart's birthplace at Getreidegasse 9, and the annual Salzburg Festival which attracts over 250,000 visitors each summer for 5-6 weeks of music and drama performances.
