Vienna, the capital of Austria, is a great place for a holiday. You can visit
famous buildings like the State Opera House, the Schonbrunn Palace and St.
Stephen’s Cathedral, which is over 850 years old. Or you can go shopping along
Kartner Strasse and enjoy Vienna’s coffee houses, cake shops, cafés and
street musicians. You can also travel along the River Danube by boat or go for
a walk in the Rathauspark, one of the many beautiful parks in the city. Vienna
is also the home of classical music. Beethoven, Mozart and Schubert all lived
there, and there are performances of their symphonies every evening, so come
and stay for a weekend or a month – there’s always lots to do in Vienna!

The Turkish city of Istanbul is a wonderful place to visit. In the old part of

“Grand Bazaar”. There are more than four thousand shops there, and you can

and the city has some fantastic fish restaurants. So come and visit Istanbul –
the city where Asia meets Europe.
