Childhood hunger

2. Hunger is a painful sensation brought on by the
lack of food.

3.  Each year, 2.6 million children die as a result of hunger-related causes.
Malnutrition, poor nutrition and wasting are some of the causes.
 Poor nutrition plays a role in at least half of the 7.6 million child deaths
each year.
 In developing countries, almost one out of every 15 children will die
before they reach the age of five .
