MSW Students visit to slums

2. They are leading a very poor life.

3. Team 4 selected to do a project on one of these slums called AMBEDHKAR COLONY.

4. AMBEDHKAR COLONY : It is located in the middle of Madurai. In 1977 govt. Separately gave lands to them. In 1983 they began to built their houses. Now more than 100 families living here. Similarly S.C (parayar) peoples also ……

16. HAVING UNHYGENIC FOOD SITTING IN AN UNHYGENIC PLACE

17. MOST OF THEM DON’T HAVE EVEN A GOOD PLACE TO SLEEP

18. CHILD SELF - EMPLOYEE

19. Many of them are construction workers

20. UNEMPLOYED EDUCATED YOUTHS

21. Poor but generous

26. Government conduct some awareness programs to these peoples to keep their place neat and tidy.
