This document discusses potential hazards and risks associated with filming in different locations, and provides recommendations for avoiding issues. For the bedroom, it suggests planning actors' movements to avoid the bed edges. For tables, it says to choose one that fits the theme and doesn't obstruct filming. Regarding mirrors, it advises positioning them carefully and training crew in first aid in case of injuries. Chairs are a minor risk of obstructing equipment. For doors, it says to use one that can slam loudly without breaking. It recommends removing any knives or utensils from the bedroom. When filming in the kitchen, checks should be done to ensure gas is off on cookers. For the forest, it advises scouting the area and
1. Place Hazard Risk Rating(1/5) How to Avoid?
Bedroom Bed 1 We can plan well in
advance where exactly
each person should take
there steps and make
sure we don't have any
of the actors/actress
walking into any of the
edges of the bed as it
can cause a lot of pain.
Table 3 With a table it is easily
able to be in the way of
the video shoot.
Therefore when buying
a table we have to
ensure that it goes with
the theme we are trying
to show and also make
sure that it is
posistioned so it isnt in
the way of the crew.
Mirror 4 A mirror can easilly be
broken and can cause
such things as heavily
bleeding therefore, to
ensure we avoid any
injury we can teach the
crew about first aid and
warn them about the
mirror beforehand.
The best thing we can
do to avoid the mirror
breaking is to position
the mirror in a
apporpirate place.
Chair 1 Chair is a very minor
risk as we won't really
have them in most of
the shots in the
bedroom. However, we
have to put it as a risk
due to the fact that the
set could walk into
them and break
recording equipment.
Door 4 The door is what we
are going to be using to
make are scene
important as one of
them will be slamming
2. the door it will help
show the emotion that
is coming from both of
them. Therefore we
will need a door which
can make a loud noise
without breaking.
Knifes and Utensils 5 Due to the fact this is a
bedroom they shouldn't
be any of these around.
If they is some we will
remove them
imideiately.
Kitchen
Cooker 1 As long as the gas is
turned of on these
cookers they will be no
risk. However we have
to be sure that we
check are enviroment
before we begin
shooting in the kitchen.
Breakfast table 2 To avoid these tables
being problem we
would have to move
them out of the way so
we can ensure it doesn't
get in the way of our
shot.
Door 0.5 The door won't be that
much of a problem as
we are only using the
door to watch the artist
walk out of it therefore
they isn't much risk.
Forest
Nettles and insects 5 This is a great problem
and this is because it
can cause delays in our
shooting if we have
things like this getting
in the way of our
shooting. Therefore,
the best way to avoid
this would be to scout
the area we will be
filming in and ensure in
advance these aren't in
the way.
3. Strangers 5 Strangers will be a
major problem this is
because they could get
in the way of our
shooting on the day.
Therefore, to also avoid
this we will have to ask
for permission to block
off the passage we will
be using at the forest so
we don't have any
unexpected
inconviences.
Cars 3 Cars can create a
substantial ammount of
noise the best way to
avoid this would be to
shoot away from
anywhere that is close
to roads.
Southbank Bridge
Strangers 5 Strangers will again be
a great problem this is
because they can be
trying to cross the
bridge and walk in
between are shots. The
best way to avoid this
would be to have
people who can warn
the public that we are
shooting so they can
avoid cross the path
between shots.
Water(Ducks,Boats
Ect..)
3 This is something
which is really hard to
tackle as ducks and
birds are quite common
on UK seas and
bridges. However, the
best way to avoid this
would be to record the
best time to shoot and
take every chance we
have avaliable.
Westend (Night)
Strangers 2 Due to the fact of the
location we will be
filming in at night i
4. doubt that they will be
a lot of people in the
way of our shooting
however if they is we
can kindly inform them
we are filming and ask
them to kindly move.
Cars(Lighting) 3 Cars are quite bright
and can disrupt our
shoot with high-beam
lights. Therefore the
best way to avoid this
in a busy area such as
westend would be to
find a location where
cars are at minimal.
SouthBank Tunnel
Strangers 2 Due to the fact that this
is a famous tunnel that
has a lot of people the
best way to avoid this
would be to isolate are
shooting to a area
which people cant
bother the recording
with louds ammount of
noise.
