Why are we rebranding?Nepean is in a privileged position with a well established footprint as asignificant Australian manufacturer and supplier to this sector.The forecast growth in the Australian production of metals and minerals is19% between FY10 & FY14, supporting a project pipeline of $320billion ofwhich $105 billion is already committed.However, it’s not all mining! Capital expenditure on Australia’s civilinfrastructure has rapidly expanded over the last decade as a result ofstrengthening commodities demand, a growing population and therebuilding of the nation’s capital stock. Annual capital expenditure onAustralian infrastructure has grown from $28bn in 2000 to $81bn in 2010expected to increase to $132bn by 2014.
