Project Execution
Introduction
The project execution phase of the Project Management Lifecycle is exactly where the work gets
done. This is the third phase of the project management life cycle, after Initiation and planning
phase project enter into execution phase. In this phase literally project get start to build. Whether it
is the building house of a project, changing a process project, or anything kind of project in
between, where we can say that the work has begun.

Project Team Responsibilities for Execution Phase
Project Manager is responsible for performance measurement which includes finding variances
between planned and actual work, cost and schedule. The project manager assigns the tasks to the
team members and they follow the required course of action. The project manager provides the
status reports to all the vital stakeholders in order to provide visibility. The Stakeholders review the
metrics and variance and initiate necessary steps for the variances determined in order to complete
the project within budget and time.
The basic processes of the Project Execution and Control are the execution of the project plan and
reviewing the metrics and producing the status reports. The change control process defines the
procedures to handle the changes that are introduced during the project execution and control phase.
The facilitating processes during Project Execution and Control can be: * Quality Assurance and
Quality Control. * Performance Monitoring. * Information Distribution or Status Reporting. *
Project Administration. * Risk Monitoring and Control. * Scope Control. * Schedule and Cost
Control. * Contract Administration.
Project Execution and Control Phase has a direct correlation to project progress and stakeholder 's
expectations. If the minor issues are not noticed, they impact cost, schedule and risk and see the
project from the Project Plan, thus

Execution Methods In The Holocaust
Execution Methods used in the Holocaust
When the Holocaust is mentioned most people immediately think of the concentration camps. They
predict scrawny people in dirty striped uniforms staring closely as the others are numerously getting
buried, or being bulldozed into mass graves. Those horrific scenes were real but they are not the
entire Holocaust. There were other methods of execution throughout the
Holocaust but the use of gas chambers was by far the most common. The Holocaust was the best
wellordered case of persecution and murder of six million Jews by the Nazi party. The Nazis came
to power in Germany on January 1933, they believed that Germans were racially superior and that
the Jews were inferior, and were a threat to the so called ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Although the gas chambers were more efficient there were also other methods used throughout the
Holocaust that were not specifically designed to execute right away, they set up labor camps to
"make use" of the inferior races before death.
The Jews were unloaded from train carts and separated into male and female lines, they were then
assigned to a specific place. The elderly and women with children were sent directly to

in which you were standing in for hours, to make another line to be sent to the gas chambers.
Gassing with carbon monoxide of insane, dumb, and crippled people also took place in various
camps such as Treblinka, Belzec, Sobibor, Chelmno and mental institutions in
Germany as part of the so called "Euthanasia Program".("Euthanasia Program"). Many of the
Jews, particularly children, were killed by lethal injection. They were designed as a Nazi
extermination camp in which they used carbon monoxide emerging from beat up engines, in
purpose built gas chambers and also And it is told that at Chelmo that they used mobile

The Death Of Homicide Through Executions
Everyone in the world has two things in common. These two things are that everyone starts their life
by being born and also everyone ends their life by dying. Now in the way people are born and how
they die can vary, but the fact of the matter is they were born and they will die. There are really only
two ways people are born which are vaginal or cesarean births. This differs from death because
there are more than a million ways to die, including snake bites, car crash, parachute failure when
skydiving, or even ironically when there is a complication when giving birth. The different ways
people die can be categorized into four groups, natural causes which happen when people's bodies
give out; homicide, which is when someone else ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The blood eagle was when a person, who killed a father, would have their spinal exposed and then
their ribs would be cracked and set through their backs. Afterward, their lungs would be pulled out
and placed on their ribs (Aden, Josh). Though the blood eagle was used because of religious beliefs,
not all executions were for that reason. On the other hand some people, during the dark ages were
killed because of the plague, they had or people thought they had to make sure they could not pass it
on to the next person they came into contact with. Although people were executed for religious and
sanitary purposes, one of the biggest reasons for people to be executed was to make a statement. For
instance in ancient Rome, they used beasts in the coliseums to kill people they called it damnatio ad
bestias. Most of the time these people were prisoners of war to make sure people knew what
ultimately happens to the enemies of Rome. Later in medieval England to make statements about
traitors they used and execution method know as hanged, drawn, and quartered. This method was
when men who committed treason were drug through town on a wood panel and taken to the
gallows. They then were hung close to death, and then immediately cut into four pieces in front of
everybody (Aden, Josh). Similarly to this day drug cartels make threats to other drug cartels by
using the execution method called the Columbian

The Ethics Of Executions Should Be Legal
The Ethics of Executions "Over the past 10 years, more death–row inmates have preferred execution
to facing seemingly endless years of appeals," states an ABC News article (Robinson). With the ever
increasing number of executions, the controversial debate over the legality of capital punishment
creates a divide within the population. A wedge that separates the people who support capital
punishment is one complicated question: what role should a doctor play in executions? Doctors
should be advocates for their patients no matter what the circumstances. Despite the infraction of
American Medical Association (AMA) policy, it is important for a licensed medical professional
with the correct knowledge and experience to monitor the execution. While a doctor should be on
the scene in case of emergency, they should not play an active role in executions as is the policy in
Texas and other states. The first thing to remember is that all doctors must adhere to the Hippocratic
Oath which requires them to do no harm to their patients. However, the bounds of this oath are
widely debated on cases that span Do–Not–Resuscitate directives, physician–assisted suicide,
executions, and anything that results in the death of a patient. In the case of executions, AMA policy
states that it is "unethical for doctors to be involved except in a peripheral way" (Tanner). The
AMA's stance prohibits doctors from "supervising or contributing" in any way even if it is to help
ease the inmate's pain

routine; there were days when more than 100 persons were executed. Amnesty International
documented 2,946 executions in the 12 months following Bani Sadr 's impeachment, a conservative
figure because the authorities did not report all executions. The pace of executions slackened
considerably at the end of 1982, partly as a result of a deliberate government decision but primarily
because, by then, the back of the armed resistance movement had largely been broken. The radical
opposition had, however, eliminated several key clerical leaders, exposed vulnerabilities in the state
's security apparatus, and posed the threat, never realized, of sparking a wider opposition movement.
The December decree, however, implied no increased tolerance for ... Show more content on

In February 1983, the government arrested Tudeh leader Nureddin Kianuri, other members of the
party Central Committee, and more than 1,000 party members. The party was proscribed, and
Kianuri confessed on television to spying for the Soviet Union and to "espionage, deceit, and
treason." Possibly because of Soviet intervention, none of the leading members of the party was
brought to trial or executed, although the leaders remained in prison. Many rank and file members,
however, were put to death. By 1983 Bazargan 's IFM was the only political group outside the
factions of the ruling hierarchy that was permitted any freedom of activity. Even this group was
barely tolerated. For example, the party headquarters was attacked in 1983, and two party members
were assaulted on the floor of the Majlis. In 1984 Khomeini denounced the Hojjatieh, a
fundamentalist religious group that rejected the role assigned to the faqih under the Constitution.
The organization, taking this attack as a warning, dissolved itself. For most Iranians the reciprocal
obligations and privileges that define relations between kinsfolk from the parent–child bond to more
distant ones have been more important than those associated with any other kind of social
alignment. Although Bakhtiar won the qualified support of moderate clerics like Shariatmadari, his
measures did not win him the support of Khomeini and the main opposition elements, who were
now committed to the overthrow of the monarchy and

Technology And Its Impact On Our Lives
Computers and technology at large have changed the lives of many people in the world both
positively and negatively. Computers have unveiled many things which have greatly influenced our
lives. This has made many teachers and students to adopt their use in classrooms. However, the use
of computers in our classrooms has been characterized by over reliance on them. Cyber space has
also played key roles in our lives. For instance, there is an increase in the number of research papers
done each day while, on the other hand, movies watched by students has increased. These can be
controlled through regulations and legislation from the governing bodies. However, the author says
that 'Cyberspace is a voluntary destination' and "Regardless of how many laws or lawsuit are
launched, regulation won't work". However, many people have used virtual books for their own
benefit helping them write good research papers. We will critically analyze the literature behind the
use of technology, mainly computers, to see how they have influenced our lives both positively and
negatively. We will also look at the effectiveness of computer usage in our classrooms today.
Computers are an advantage for learners in both scientific and technological education as compared
to books. Approximately 2 billion dollars have been used to purchases of more than 2 million
computers in America (Gelemter, 1994). However, computers are awaited in a religious fear in both
the poor and well up schools. In Washington,

Response Structure
Creating an emergency response plan is very important in any business. There are different plans for
medical, fire, police, and school. The following plans are imperative in any environment. There are
many things that will happen and Incident Command System (ICS) will help to provide the
responders with an effective system that works. But before we go into the structures, an
understanding of an incident command system needs to be addressed.
According to OSHA, n.d., "ICS is a standardized on–scene incident management concept designed
specifically to allow responders to adopt an integrated organizational structure equal to the
complexity ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This allows hospitals to know how many beds they are going to need. Demobilization is the next
level. In this level, the responders are either sent back to the area they came from, set back in service
after they transport a victim, or they are cancelled all together. The last level is termination. In this
level, the incident commander decides that no further action is required and everyone is sent back to
their units. The next thing we need to look at are the responsibilities of the incident commander. The
first one, according to FEMA, 1999, is to rescue all victims. The second is making sure the victims
are taken out of the situation and moved to a medical facility. And the third is to make sure the
personnel are safe.
Next we will look at fire and rescue. The organization of the incident command is almost the same
as the medical responders. According to Fire and Rescue, 2008, the following are the organizational
areas for fire and rescue: "Organization on the incident ground, this gives the Incident Commander a
recognized system from which to work when organizing and using resources at an Incident, Incident
Risk Management, the principal consideration of Incident Commanders is safety of their personnel.
Therefore, prior to deciding upon the tactics an assessment of risk must be performed. The Incident
Commander must identify the hazards, assess the risks, and implement all reasonable control
measures before committing crews into a risk area,

The Pros And Cons Of Abolishment
Introduction
In recent years, the death penalty is still existing in everywhere although there is less number of
convicted offenders than the old time. Some people think that death penalty is the way to constrain
people to do not offend or violate the legislation while some have an argument that this punishment
should be abolished. In this essay, I will compare two articles. "Why Japanese support the death
penalty? " by Shanhe Jiang, Rebecca Pilot, and Toyoji Saito (2010)(article 1) and " Does it matter if
the Death Penalty is Arbitrarily Administered ? " by Stephen Nathanson (2009)(article2). These two
articles are very different. The former article is based on quantitative research and explains why
Japanese people take sides with the death penalty. However, the latter article is based on qualitative
research and describes capital punishment should be abolished. I propose to summarize the main
ideas of two articles, compare both in many aspects, and conclude in my own opinion.
Summary
1. The purpose of the research
The first article, the main purpose of the authors is apparently on the topic of their article which is to
investigate the reason why Japanese participants support or oppose the death penalty. The second
article, the writer also shows the practice of the capital punishment. However, this article is related
to the abolishment. The aim of this article is to investigate the debates about the death penalty that is
eliminated due to the

Execution and Results in a Crisis Situation
1. In the Kirkpatrick and Shane article, several leaders are mentioned including President George W.
Bush, Homeland Security Chief Michael Chertoff, and FEMA Director Michael D. Brown. Briefly
evaluate each of these leaders on their overall effectiveness at Managing Execution and Driving for
Results.
Manage Execution is the way for a manager to designate, cooperate, monitor, and keep up the
assignment (Quinn, 2007). Drive for results is the way to achieve the goal with others and through

A dependence grows between employee and leader in which the employee has grown accustomed to
the leader giving orders and directions, and makes every effort to follow such guidance to the letter.
This dependence does not bode well in situations of high stress and shortened reaction times. As
General Honoré stated, the first part of the leader 's job is to "set people on the right path" ("A
Military General's Leadership Lessons," 2009). This happens when the leader gives the initial order.
In this case, it was to evacuate the people out of harms way. The plan was then laid out for the
authorities to execute.
What happened, was that the dependance the authorities placed on the plan of execution did not
allow themselves to modify the plan of execution when the situation changed. The leaders were
bossing the authorities around in such a manner that the "right path" and desired end result were
forgotten. When this occurs, and the execution loses all forward motion because the initial plan is
not being followed to the letter, the leaders who were barking orders have to devide their time up
between coming up with a new plan and then desiminating it to the proper authorities. A leader who
motivates the execution, works WITH the execution. In order to motivate, a leader needs to be
involved with those he or she plans to motivate. By involving themselves with the execution, they

Stoning Is A Form Of Execution
As most people know, women have been victims of injustice for hundreds of years, but one form of
torture stands out amongst them all in Pakistan. Stoning is a form of capital punishment where a
group of people throw stones at a person until he or she dies, more often women than men. Because
stoning is a lot slower than other forms of execution, it is considered a form of execution by torture.
In other countries like Afghanistan and Iraq, stoning has been declared illegal, but it is still being
practice extra judicially. In modern times, allegations of stoning are politically sensitive, as in the
case of Iran, which describes such allegations as political propaganda. Stoning still happens today.
There are 15 countries in which stoning is either practiced or authorized by law, even if it has never
been practiced. In Iran, Mauritania, Nigeria (in one–third of the country 's states), Pakistan, Qatar,
Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen, stoning is a legal punishment.
However, out of these countries, only in Iran, Pakistan and Somalia have stoning's actually occurred
and all instances in Pakistan have occurred outside the legal system. Stoning is used as a
punishment for those who commit adultery. The husband has the honor to throw the first stone. Her
children are also forced to participate. They are allowed to try and escape, but they are left at a
disadvantage because they are buried to their chest, as opposed to men who are only buried

The Execution Of A New Strategy
Execution of a new strategy is always a taxing task. It necessitates the possession of significant
resources, and also a well designed and engaged administrative composition. Good policy will
designate a specific person who or entity who is accountable for implementing the new policy. At
the outset of the execution of a new policy, a group should be identified that can oversee the new
strategy in all pertinent sectors of the organization to assure various efforts within management are
synchronized.
In Jordan, an expansion synchronization team was set up in the governmental bureau that collected
information from each of the government directorates within the kingdom 's Education Ministry to
oversee the implementation of diverse programs connected to the education transformation that
included the ICT Plan that the government wished to develop (Ministry of Economics, 2008). In
Singapore, the Educational Technology Division teamed up with divisions within the government 's
education ministry in such activities as curriculum preparation, development and training of
teachers in ICT and the execution of their long–range and short–range plans. In addition, the
Ministry of Education worked closely with the government agencies that are held responsible for the
national ICT grid and for increasing an aggressive ICT industry in Singapore (Coppock, Smith &
Howell, 2007).

Execution Of Execution And Planning
Execution estimation and planning will be examined. Execution planning will be characterized and
its different uses will be looked into. Next, the principle attributes or criteria connected with
effective execution estimations will be analyzed and also its few vital angles. In conclusion, lessons
gained from governments ' earlier execution endeavors will be investigated to decide the "rules and
regulations" of execution based planning. There is nobody single meaning of execution based
planning. An audit of the writing does, in any case, recommend what it implies ordinarily. Most

connected to systemic endeavors to evaluate government movement and upgrade responsibility for
advancement and results in accomplishing results" (Dawson, 1995, p. 1). As the writing suggests, in
this way, execution based planning has four essential qualities. In the first place, execution planning
sets an objective, or an arrangement of objectives, to which monies are "associated," i.e. designated.
From these objectives, particular targets are portrayed and finances are then subdivided among
them. Second, execution planning gives data and information on past execution and in this way
continues to take into account important correlations in the middle of "expected" and "real"
advance. Third, acclimations to projects are made either as of right now or amid a future spending
plan planning cycle to close any execution crevices that might exist. Fourth, as an auxiliary yet vital
trademark, execution planning gives a chance to customary or extraordinary (specially appointed)
program assessments. Whenever used, these assessments are profitable in that they give free and
evident data to spending plan leaders and system directors alike. Also, take note of that numerous
specialists out in the open fund trust that the cardinal point of execution planning is

Motor Execution Paper
Motor Execution
The production of speech demands coordination of laryngeal, respiratory, and orofacial muscles
(Simonyan & Horwitz, 2011), and once the brain has the framework and layout for what it wants to
produce vocally, it can begin to implement its plan. In order to do this, it must leave the cerebrum
and begin its journey down the spinal cord, the secondary part of the central nervous system. The
journey begins in the motor cortices.
Once the signal has been organized, it leaves Broca's area and makes its way towards the motor
cortices in the frontal lobe, which include the precentral gyrus (or the primary motor cortex), the
premotor cortex, and the supplementary motor area (Ferrand, 2014). The primary motor cortex
controls, directs, and coordinates contralateral voluntary movements of skeletal muscles, including
the muscles that take part in speech production (Ferrand, 2014). The neurons on the primary motor
cortex (as well as the somatosensory cortex) are organized on a homunculus, or a map with all areas
of the body represented. It contains areas specific to the face and neck lower down on the

information is transmitted to and from the central nervous system by way of the cranial nerve

The Pros And Cons Of The Death Penalty
Is the death penalty really the answer? Even though the criminal deserves the punishment of death,
it is not always what a person deserves because death is the easy way out of the crime and the
methods of killing are cruel. Some people feel that the Death Penalty should be broadened to cases
such as rape, child molesters, etc.
Execution Problems First off, some states just put people on death row and leave them there for a
very, very long amount of time. Furthermore, only 1,110 people have been executed on death row
since 1973 and 4.1% of those people were innocent (Ballaro & Cushman, 2016). In a state there was
execution that looked like torture because they sat there and watched the man die for 40 minutes
with the lethal injection that they had used to kill him (Newsweek Global, 2014). After another
execution, they took 45 minutes to find a suitable vein on a man by just probing his arms and a leg
because of his past drug abuse. The FBI's evidence shows that the death penalty takes up large
amounts of money but still does not deter criminals(Ballaro, Cushman, 2016). In the recent past,
some people in the Supreme Court believed that the death penalty has been used in a racist manner,
and could have resulted in innocent lives being taken for things they did not do. In Arkansas, the
Governor wasn't doing a very good job setting dates for execution, so that the family and friends of
the person or the person they committed the crime against could have peace of mind either

The Execution Of Willie Trottie
Introduction All countries on the planet either have capital punishment or have had it at one time.
The death penalty is utilized as a part of most cases to rebuff the individuals who infringed upon the
laws or models that were anticipated from them. Executions basically infuse more brutality into an
officially antagonistic American culture. This paper will discuss the execution of Willie Trottie .
Willie Trottie Willie Trottie, black, poor, abandoned at a young age by an alcoholic mother, and
victim of abuse started dating Barbara Canada in 1989 and and soon thereafter began living together
and had a child. In September 1992, Willie and Barbara separated and she moved in with her family.
After some time, the relationship soured. Willie ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
All of his subsequent appeals in state and federal court were denied. Willie Trottie was executed by
lethal injection on September 10, 2014 for the murders of Barbara and Titus Canada. Willie asked
for forgiveness serval times before he was executed. His final words were "I love you all; I'm going
home, going to be with the Lord. Find it in your hearts to forgive me. I'm sorry." As the lethal dose
of the powerful sedative pentobarbital took effect, he closed his eyes and breathed quietly. After
about eight breaths, he opened his mouth to exhale, and then closed it. Why Death? A life sentence
is sufficient deterrent, and many would argue more so than the death penalty. There is no evidence
that countries that still apply the death penalty have lower crime rates, in fact the opposite seems to
be true with the US. The greatest deterrent in crime is the fear of getting caught, not the resultant
punishment. If criminals knew that they would get caught and would have to spend a long time in a
prison that would make them think twice. If they can be confident that they won 't get caught, even
though the punishment is a death sentence, some would take the chance. Countries with effective
criminal justice systems, catching people early before they descend into worse and worse offending
have the lowest crime, not contries with the harshest penalties. Willie Trottie is a case in point. As a
society we will do better to learn about him, what he did, what

The Execution Of The Apartheid Framework
The execution of the Apartheid framework in 1948 influenced the socio; monetary, mental and
political structures of South Africa and was straightforwardly gone for dark South Africans. In
Mother To Mother by Sindiwe Magona, this arrangement of Apartheid is broke down and analyzed
to represent the route in which this controlled type of abuse straightforwardly and in a roundabout

in the end impacted or changed the lives of all South Africans paying little respect to shading.

Improving Student Performance Has Long Been An Issue...
Critical Assignment 1
Shelby A. Wood
Troy University
Article 1
Improving student performance has long been an issue contemplated and researched by educational
professionals and psychologists. Nowadays, an even greater burden has been placed on the
shoulders of teachers, whose livelihoods are being determined by how well their students perform
on standardized tests and other academic evaluations. With this increased amount of pressure,
teachers are desperate to find ways to improve student success. As Hidi and Harackiewicz point out,
the aspect of student learning that teachers have the most influence over is the amount of effort put
in by students (Hidi & Harackiewicz, 2000). Research has shown that students' motivation to meet
these academic demands begins steadily declining around the third grade (Anderman & Maehr,
1987; Harter, 1981) which means teachers must take proactive approaches in their classrooms to
stimulate and maintain the motivation of their students.
According to Hidi and Harackiewicz, student interest serves as a foundation for intrinsic motivation.
While teachers are not able to directly impact a student's individual interest (interest determined by
the student's predisposition or inclination towards a subject), their situational interest (interest
generated by exteneral forces) can be greatly impacted. Their findings showed that situational
interest can influence individual interest, and the two forms of interest, working in harmony,

Celia, a Slave Essay
Celia, a Slave is the epitome of the relationship between slaves and their owners and also the slaves
and other whites in the 1850's. This is based on her interactions with her owner Robert Newsom and
her reactions mainly with the community involved in her court case. These relationships affected
more so the women slaves rather than the men slaves because of their weaker nature as perceived by
the sexual differences of the time period between men and women in general. Slavery is questioned
by the morals of the Northerners and some Southerners though it is common in the South so most
Southerners reinforce the ideas of slavery with their own morals, believing slaves as meaningless
because of their difference. Celia was bought by Robert ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Though her story was that of defense from her master: she had acted alone, struck her master to stop

about slaves and how they should be viewed and treated in society. (as proved previously in the case
Dred Scott vs. Sandford.) These were the most frequent reactions of the Southerners; however a
man named John Jameson took her side and defended her and her actions toward Robert Newsom as

The Cost Of Execution
Executions have been a method of punishment for many years, yet the different types of executions
have advanced in technology over the years. Every state has a different way of executing criminals.
For example, Texas follows out the execution plan by conducting death by lethal injection. Our state
law allows a jury to vote for "death by lethal injection" for convicted criminals, and I would vote to
change this law. Many studies have been conducted to the find the truth about the cost of executions
versus the cost of life in prison. Pro–execution supporters state that by carrying out executions
thousands of tax dollars are saved. This, in fact, is not necessarily correct. There is much research
that proves that executions are far more expensive

Execution In Early-Modern Europe
Maintenance of power and fear is an essential action by the majority of monarchs and rulers within
the early–modern age. Without the populace living within a mental state of worry, and being
constantly agitated by the looming threat of capital punishment, the European continent would not
be unified between the fifteenth and eighteenth centuries. This concept of mass horror and tyranny
was modelled around the use of capital punishment, torture, and execution, and through the public
action of these forms of justice, the monarchs and spiritual leaders kept an ability to rule with an
iron fist over the populace of a nation–state. However execution was also a public affair and was
enjoyed by the masses to a large extent due to the sense of justice and vengeance it created, and a
feeling of freedom from lawless criminals due to the large punishment awaiting them if citizens
were to break the strict and direct laws of kingdoms. Another aspect of execution was the role of
religion and The Roman Catholic Church in regards to the execution of religious ... Show more

Europe impacted society and individuals to a maximum extent. Execution, was a large weapon of

The Creation and the Execution of Contracts
To: Staff of XYZ Company
From: Contracts manager
Date: 25th Sept 2013
Subject: Creation and execution of contracts The management of XYZ Company plans to create and
execute contracts with the new client. The management finds it necessary for workers and
supervisors to refresh on the basic items and skills of contracts. This will facilitate effective and
proper contract execution to the expectations of the client. The terms and skills for contracts will
also enable the workers, supervisors and company management abide to the terms and conditions
relating to a particular contract in order to avoid breach of a contract. The memo intends to create
awareness on the specifications and the needs of the contract between the new client and the
company. The memo specifies the expectations of both the company and the client. A contract takes
place when one party accepts an offer from another party. Formation of a contract requires an
agreement on the various elements of a contract. If the elements are not considered, disputes and
disagreements may arise on the latter stages of a contract. According to Stapleton & Viliams (2004),
a valid contract is easy to create if all the required elements to a contract are available and there is
willingness. The first element of a contract is legal capacity. Although a contract may be legal, law
on contracts does not allow all people to enter into contracts. Contract law specifies a category of
people who cannot enter into legal contracts.

Execution by Hunger Miron Dolot. Execution By Hunger: New York: W.W. Norton & Company

Miron Dolot's book, EXECUTION BY HUNGER, is a detailed account as seen through the eyes of
a true survivor during the reign of Stalin and the Soviet Union between 1929–1933. In his accounts,
he portrays atrocities against human civilization while documenting his real life experiences and
those of his fellow Ukrainian village farmers. He portrays them as victims of their own time period.

followers in the name of Communism. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The collectivization began with the infiltration of about ten men per village from the communist
party and the soviet government known as Twenty Five Thousanders. They were an elite group with
unlimited power and weapons. They gradually arrested dignitaries and influential villagers such as
Priest Bondar. The villages were becoming defenseless and had no leaders to look up to.
Propagandists took over homes and left families with nothing but the clothes they had on. This was
the pattern throughout the entire region in all of the villages. It set neighbor against neighbor,
brother against brother all in the name of survival. Once someone you knew joined the collective
farm, he was no longer your friend.
The infiltration expanded into the exploitation of the farmers. They were held captives of their own
free will on their own lands. Overwhelmed by the Party, resistance was fruitless since they were
persuaded by sleep deprivation, humiliation, and degradation. The people became broken spirits in
appearance. It was a silent war between the communists and the collective farmers. Dolot exhibits a
hidden pride in the farmers by writing of their subtle resistances, sabotages, and stubborn survival.
They may have been beaten but they really were not broken. Some lived on.

Historically, executions have been around for a long time. The first established death penalty laws

Most easily understood when you take a life, you lose your life––an eye for an eye. Nonetheless,
over time people have started humanizing the situation and creating controversy. The Fifth, Eighth,

Execution Of Justice Analysis
The Ohio State University Theatre Department's performance of Execution of Justice, by Emily
Mann, was performed ten times between April 4th and April 10th, 2018. It was directed by Tom
Dugdale, this play is a dramatic retelling of the trial of The People vs Daniel James White of the
killings of former Mayor of San Francisco, George Moscone, and former City Supervisor, Harvey
Milk in November of 1978. The play uses actual transcripts from the trial and brings in voices of
people who would not have been in the courtroom, but whose voices should have been heard. I
believe this play was a success in its performance and directing and technical aspects. It made me
sympathize with the prosecuting attorney and want to know more about what happened and why
Dan White only received two manslaughter charges instead of the two first degree murder charges I

The Execution Of Bardolph In Film
1. The execution of Bardolph in Act 3 scene 6 is a rather important scene. When King Henry and the
Duke of Gloucester enter the scene Fluellen tells them that the Duke of Exeter fought heroically.
King Henry asks about the casualties of the battle, Fluellen tells him that there was only one –
Bardolph. Fluellen notifies Henry that he shall soon to be hanged for robbing a church. The reason
for this for his swift execution is because Henry gave a speech mandating his soldiers conduct

In Donald Hedrick's essay "War is Mud: Branagh's Dirty Harry V and the Types of Political

essay written by Elayne Tobin in which he finds her to be disillusioned. He believes she became
disillusioned by the film community always trying to say film exposes some "bad faith," and
Hedrick is hesitant to so strongly believe Hollywood is really trying to represent the agendas of the
film community. As an example of how a film can be read for political ideas he examines Kenneth
Branagh's Henry V. In the first section "Mud" he looks at the use of and prevalence of dirt. He
claims it has more of a function than just making King Henry look like a tactical genius for
defeating the heavily armored French on a swampy muddy field. He believes Branagh's use of dirt
makes the film darker and the darkness harkens to the character of the real Henry V. He goes on to
explain how he his ruthlessness at the Battle of Agincourt. His ruthlessness has been looked at as
being a ruthless emotional act or that it could have been a strategy for the outnumbered English. The
mud calls into question the character of the King. In "American Clean" he examines what kind of
character King Henry is in Branagh's version. He established he is the "genuinely holy man" with
the capacity to be ruthless. The dirt is used to "enhance the feel of a huge power continually being
held in check..." He argues that the meaning

Summary: Response Execution
Response Execution
At one time or another, city officials must mitigate or manage risk because emergencies strike with
little to no warning. When disaster or emergency strikes, one's response in the next minute could
mean the difference between survival and loss. In many situations, similar to the summer of 2015, in
Phoenix Arizona, an Incident Commander must mitigate risk to achieve the greatest degree of
success. While the process for mitigating risk varies somewhat from situation to situation, proper
risk management calls for the Incident Commander to know what commodities are available, and
what measures must be taken to maintain security, particularly as it pertains to extreme situations

Black Swan Green Analysis
In Black Swan Green, Jason Taylor's adolescence could best be described as a roller coaster, with
highs, lows, and everywhere in between. He battles with hapless circumstances, ranging from a rigid
relationship with his father to balancing popularity and ethics, all while combatting an internal issue
of self–consciousness due to a speech impediment. The significance of all the obstacles, conflicts
and decisions is that they will determine what Jason will evolve into for the rest of his life. These
scenarios epitomize the obstacles and pressures that a teenager encounters, and demonstrates how
someone of that age grows while drudging through something that they've never experienced
before.
One of the obstacles mentioned above, Jason's relationship with his father, slowly deteriorates
throughout the novel and eventually ceases to exist. Before the relationship started to die out, Jason
never seems to reach his father's standards, but when his father's relationship with his mum fails,
Jason's father starts to fade away from Jason's life. In "January Man" Jason ventures into his father's
office, in order to answer a phone, despite being instructed by his father specifically not to. The
phone had been ringing endlessly, and Jason was trying to focus. So, Jason ventured into the office
and answered. Somehow, Jason's father discovered and brought it up at Dinner. After admitting that
Jason had done it, his father plagued him with questions like "What's the rule about not going into
my office?", "What question did i just ask you?" and "Now why don't you answer this question?"
Jason is faced with the disincentive of questioning his father's legacy: his father has unachievable
standards for Jason, but also falls short of Jason's standards for him. This leaves Jason unsure
whether or not to listen to his father has taught him in his upbringing Mitchell first introduces the
title of "Hangman" as a means of comprehending arguably the most influential difficulty that Jason
faces, his stammer, while at the same time examining some of his underlying, discrete
characteristics. Initially, Jason sees Hangman as a villain, trying to sabotage his general confidence,

Examples Of Flawless Execution
Flawless Execution
There are three elements to flawless execution. The flowing are: Leadership, execution engine, and
foundation. Although, this book is written by a pilot, these elements can be used in any business to
perform substantially. I know a lot of businesses fail to use these steps. I see the importance of these
steps now. That's why Pizza Artista still stands after a year in business and is kicking butt.
Leadership breaks down into three categories. Picture of the future, strategy, and intent. With the
picture of the future, a good leader will get everyone on the same page about it with specific details.
Strategy will be the plan of the organization. It comes with four key questions. What are we going to
be in the future as an organization? What are we going to deploy our resources into or against in
order to get there? How are we actually going to do this? When and how are we going to exit and
get out with some style and finesse? Answering these questions can make a huge difference. Lastly,
your intensions. Everyone needs to know your intentions are about your strategy. Make sure
everyone understands what is going on and why. Otherwise, miscommunication falls into place and
things can go wrong. The Execution ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Execution Poem Analysis
In this poem Execution written by Edward Hirsch tells a philosophical reflection expressed with
sadness about a sicken high school football coach who is extremely passionate. The overview of this
poem is centered around his favorite word execution. Execution is expressed in multiple ways in
this poem. Life was about football for the coach, he would pour in his blood sweat and tears to the
game. There was no that he received every inch of effort from his player. Countless hours of
preparation, practice, and energy was devoted. You would think working this hard would bring upon
serious exhaustion, but the coach was like an energizer bunny, he would keep going. Unfortunately
this lifestyle caught up with him, the speaker says he developed cancer. I believe that he spent too
much time on the game of football. Ultimately this is what lead to his illness, the neglection of his
self for the game that he loved. Details from the poem will be used to argue my claim. These details
are relevant to how the coach acted and his philosophies. The significance that we get out of my
claim is thought provoking. The type of execution he was preaching to the team went into full effect
in the form of cancer towards him. Let me start off by saying that the coach had great intentions for
the way he coached. Hardnosed, no nonsense guy, who taught discipline. Learning the art of
discipline helps you on the field, but the results are even more notable off the field in everyday life.
You cannot go wrong with being a disciplined individual. Real big on fundamentals, a perfectionist
at teaching them. The speaker states, " And had perfect unquestioning faith in the fundamentals of
blocking and talking, the idea of warfare without suffering or death, the concept of teammates
moving in harmony like planets. An architect at work piecing together a formula to prepare his team
the best way he can. Losing was not an option, the speaker says that the coach "despised losing." I
personally hate losing myself so I can relate. Losing to me is like getting stabbed in the back. It
hurts tremendously to not come out victorious. I do not fault the coach for putting the team through
strenuous drills or drilling formations and plays in their head.

The Execution Of An Inmate Essay
"On April 29, 2014, Oklahoma prison officials administered an untested mixture of 3 drugs to
Clayton Lockett, a convicted murderer and rapist" (Greenberg 1). "The execution went immediately
and terrifyingly wrong. Following administration of the first drug, Lockett, obviously conscious,
started to writhe and groan, and then went into convulsions" (1). This is one example of the many
botched executions that have occurred in recent history. With the possibility of an execution going
as badly as Lockett's, we must ask if we are violating the US constitution. The 8th amendment
states, "Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual
punishments inflicted" (amend. XIII). considering the possibility of an execution going as badly as
Lockett's, we must ask if we are violating this amendment. The execution of an inmate is also likely
to bring up issues of faith, Romans 12:18 states "leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written,
Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the lord" (Rom. 12.18). Morality should determine where we
go as a country, including the punishments we invoke. I researched the issue of lethal injection,
through review of medical, legal and philosophical journals. Currently in California, lethal injection
is a flawed institution with limited success. Financial costs of lethal injection appeals and prisoner

This description led me to believe that the outlook of technology at the time, when the Internet was
just being introduced to the public, was fear. People feared the unknown power of the new
technology of computers. Tron is a story of man battling his own creations, which represents
technology as a powerful force with destructive capabilities.
I am interested in this project because I have always liked science fiction/fantasy movies. I like to
think about the possibilities that technology holds for our future. I am also interested in how
technology influences our culture. I was in high school when this movie came out and had limited
access to computers at that time. I wasn't concerned with the impact of new computer technology
then, but remember hearing people say that machines would someday run the world. For example, I
worked for a grocery store in the 1980s and remember other employees worrying that new machines
were being developed that would replace the cashiers, and we would all be out of a job. I think this
movie would probably have a bigger impact now that computers are such a large part of our
everyday lives. Artificial intelligence is still a popular theme for science fiction movies, so people
must like to consider it a possibility. I've read that there is a possible sequel to the movie

Capital Punishment and Methods of Execution
Capital Punishment Thirty–two out of the fifty states in the United States of America accommodate
to the death sentence, with Virginia being the one of the largest contributors following that of Texas.
In 1976, the death sentence was reinstated by the Supreme Court; this produced the outcome of
Texas holding the largest number of executions within all the states. Every year, people are brutally
killed by inhumane methods of death. Who's to say whether another person has the right to live or
not? By taking the life of another, is to play God. In spite of the fact that some find it to be unethical
taking another man's life, about 70% of the public agree with the continuation of the death penalty.
Methods of execution include lethal injection; being the first option for most, electrocution, gas
chamber, hanging, and lastly by firing squad; which is only legal in two states, Oklahoma and Utah;
however is it only used if lethal injection is deemed unconstitutional. Many Countries support this
ideal; however, there are those who greatly oppose of it. According to the writers on
Religioustolerance.org, "Some countries, such as Italy, routinely refuse to extradite accused
murderers to the US because of the possibility that they might be executed. Canada originally
refused to extradite suspected mass murderer Charles Ng to California for a trial. The government
ruling was later overturned by Canada's Supreme Court." Like Canada, the United States should

The Importance Of A Competency For Execution Evaluation
Introduction
An ethical decision is a decision in which a person is conflicted between two moral ideals. The
answer is not clear in these types of situations. The deliverance of punishment in America has
always been an ethical decision, especially when the punishment is death. After a horrific crime is
committed, many complicated proceedings take place, and sometimes these proceedings sometimes
lead to the decision to execute the person responsible. The next steps are complex and often times
create moral conflicts for those who are participating in them. One step that must take place when
an accused has been sentenced to death is a competency exam which is administered by a mental
health professional. This paper will focus on mental health professional's participation to certify
someone as death ready prior to execution and the ethical decisions that mental health professionals
face during this time, yet the ultimate need for their expertise.
Background Information
A competency for execution evaluation is required by law to be performed before the execution of a
person sentenced to death. This exam aims to make sure the accused is death ready, or in other
words are they competent to be executed. To be considered competent to be executed, one must: "(a)
understand and appreciate the punishment, (b) understand and appreciate death, and (c) have the
ability to work with the judicial team" (Neal, 2010, p. 148). The mental health care professional also
needs to take into

York University." (Bermudez, 2010) The Code of Ethics should reflect the policies, processes, and
controls of the organization it was written for. One of the most tempting things to do would be to
copy policies from another institution for the purposes of attempting to create a "best practices"
document. Unless doing so is a true reflection of the principle organizations business processes and
practices the Code will not efficiently create the protective shell nor will it help to inspire and direct
the staff within the organization. In Kyarimpa's book review of Svara James' "The Ethics Primer for
Public Administrators in Government and Nonprofit Organizations" she points out the authors
statement that "duty–based ethics is inherent in public servants because they enter the profession
motivated by a sense of duty to serve." Attention to inclusion of that sense of servitude in the
institution's mission, motto, and Code of Ethics will do well to infuse that theme throughout the
actions of day to day practices. At the very

The Execution of Death Penalty
The Death Penalty Introduction As of 2010, thirty–four States have some form of Death Penalty,
while twelve States plus the District of Columbia have no Death Penalty. The number of Death
Penalty executions from 1977 2010 by color–coded States follows: (Death Penalty Information
Center, 2012). The basic dispute involving the Death Penalty is whether or not it should be
abolished. This dispute has raged for decades in the United States and people on both sides of the
debate appear to be equally passionate. Anti–Death Penalty individuals propose numerous
arguments for banning the Death Penalty; this paper will address three of them: some innocent
people are sentenced to death; the Death Penalty is administered arbitrarily; and the Death Penalty is
not a deterrent. After presenting those three anti–Death Penalty arguments, the pro–Death Penalty
responses will be examined. Anti–Death Penalty Arguments One argument against the Death
Penalty is that innocent people are wrongfully convicted and sentenced to death. While the
"Innocence Project," associated with the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, was not established
to abolish the Death Penalty, many of its findings support the "innocent convict" argument. The

factors. More specifically, "The temptation to evaluate everything may be compelling in an
idealistic sense, but it ignores many practical realities" (Fitzpatrick, Sanders & Worthen, 2011, p.
259. Ones' ability to identify appropriate opportunities requires essential skillsets, knowledge, and
the ability to analyze each condition. In today's society the primary drive behind an evaluation is
due to a mandated funding source, thus seeking accountability regarding public funded programs
(Fitzpatrick, Sanders & Worthen, 2011). Identifying the purpose of the evaluation is often times
vague, requiring the evaluator to examine significant materials pertaining to the stakeholders, as
well as properly identifying objectives and expectancies held by the stakeholders (Fitzpatrick,
Sanders & Worthen, 2011). This process requests the evaluator to review the purpose of the
program, the users, the program, program theory, relevant resources, and appropriate contextual
issues. The evaluation process can have significant positive impacts on both the stakeholders and the
evaluator, as communication, knowledge, and relationships are established. Thus, "Evaluation can
also educate stakeholders, empowering them to become active in the evaluations, by helping them
gain skills in questioning

This is the third phase of the project management life cycle, after Initiation and planning phase project enter into execution phase. In this phase literally project get start to build. Whether it is the building house of a project, changing a process project, or anything kind of project in between, where we can say that the work has begun. • 2. Execution Methods In The Holocaust Execution Methods used in the Holocaust When the Holocaust is mentioned most people immediately think of the concentration camps. They predict scrawny people in dirty striped uniforms staring closely as the others are numerously getting buried, or being bulldozed into mass graves. Those horrific scenes were real but they are not the entire Holocaust. There were other methods of execution throughout the Holocaust but the use of gas chambers was by far the most common. The Holocaust was the best wellordered case of persecution and murder of six million Jews by the Nazi party. The Nazis came to power in Germany on January 1933, they believed that Germans were racially superior and that the Jews were inferior, and were a threat to the so called ... Although the gas chambers were more efficient there were also other methods used throughout the Holocaust that were not specifically designed to execute right away, they set up labor camps to "make use" of the inferior races before death. The Jews were unloaded from train carts and separated into male and female lines, they were then assigned to a specific place. The elderly and women with children were sent directly to Ferry2 the line of prisoners who were condemned to death in the gas chambers. If you were selected by the SS. Doctor you looked sickly, developed scabies, or were unfit to work you were chosen out of line in which you were standing in for hours, to make another line to be sent to the gas chambers. Gassing with carbon monoxide of insane, dumb, and crippled people also took place in various camps such as Treblinka, Belzec, Sobibor, Chelmno and mental institutions in Germany as part of the so called "Euthanasia Program".("Euthanasia Program"). Many of the Jews, particularly children, were killed by lethal injection. • 3. The Death Of Homicide Through Executions Everyone in the world has two things in common. These two things are that everyone starts their life by being born and also everyone ends their life by dying. Now in the way people are born and how they die can vary, but the fact of the matter is they were born and they will die. There are really only two ways people are born which are vaginal or cesarean births. This differs from death because there are more than a million ways to die, including snake bites, car crash, parachute failure when skydiving, or even ironically when there is a complication when giving birth. The different ways people die can be categorized into four groups, natural causes which happen when people's bodies give out; homicide, which is when someone else ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The blood eagle was when a person, who killed a father, would have their spinal exposed and then their ribs would be cracked and set through their backs. Afterward, their lungs would be pulled out and placed on their ribs (Aden, Josh). Though the blood eagle was used because of religious beliefs, not all executions were for that reason. On the other hand some people, during the dark ages were killed because of the plague, they had or people thought they had to make sure they could not pass it on to the next person they came into contact with. Although people were executed for religious and sanitary purposes, one of the biggest reasons for people to be executed was to make a statement. For instance in ancient Rome, they used beasts in the coliseums to kill people they called it damnatio ad bestias. Most of the time these people were prisoners of war to make sure people knew what ultimately happens to the enemies of Rome. Later in medieval England to make statements about traitors they used and execution method know as hanged, drawn, and quartered. This method was when men who committed treason were drug through town on a wood panel and taken to the gallows. They then were hung close to death, and then immediately cut into four pieces in front of everybody (Aden, Josh). • 4. The Ethics Of Executions Should Be Legal The Ethics of Executions "Over the past 10 years, more death–row inmates have preferred execution to facing seemingly endless years of appeals," states an ABC News article (Robinson). With the ever increasing number of executions, the controversial debate over the legality of capital punishment creates a divide within the population. A wedge that separates the people who support capital punishment is one complicated question: what role should a doctor play in executions? Doctors should be advocates for their patients no matter what the circumstances. Despite the infraction of American Medical Association (AMA) policy, it is important for a licensed medical professional with the correct knowledge and experience to monitor the execution. While a doctor should be on the scene in case of emergency, they should not play an active role in executions as is the policy in Texas and other states. The first thing to remember is that all doctors must adhere to the Hippocratic Oath which requires them to do no harm to their patients. However, the bounds of this oath are widely debated on cases that span Do–Not–Resuscitate directives, physician–assisted suicide, executions, and anything that results in the death of a patient. In the case of executions, AMA policy states that it is "unethical for doctors to be involved except in a peripheral way" (Tanner). The AMA's stance prohibits doctors from "supervising or contributing" in any way even if it is to help ease the inmate's pain ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. The Political Opposition Of Executions routine; there were days when more than 100 persons were executed. Amnesty International documented 2,946 executions in the 12 months following Bani Sadr 's impeachment, a conservative figure because the authorities did not report all executions. The pace of executions slackened considerably at the end of 1982, partly as a result of a deliberate government decision but primarily because, by then, the back of the armed resistance movement had largely been broken. The radical opposition had, however, eliminated several key clerical leaders, exposed vulnerabilities in the state 's security apparatus, and posed the threat, never realized, of sparking a wider opposition movement. The December decree, however, implied no increased tolerance for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In February 1983, the government arrested Tudeh leader Nureddin Kianuri, other members of the party Central Committee, and more than 1,000 party members. The party was proscribed, and Kianuri confessed on television to spying for the Soviet Union and to "espionage, deceit, and treason." Possibly because of Soviet intervention, none of the leading members of the party was brought to trial or executed, although the leaders remained in prison. Many rank and file members, however, were put to death. By 1983 Bazargan 's IFM was the only political group outside the factions of the ruling hierarchy that was permitted any freedom of activity. Even this group was barely tolerated. For example, the party headquarters was attacked in 1983, and two party members were assaulted on the floor of the Majlis. In 1984 Khomeini denounced the Hojjatieh, a fundamentalist religious group that rejected the role assigned to the faqih under the Constitution. The organization, taking this attack as a warning, dissolved itself. For most Iranians the reciprocal obligations and privileges that define relations between kinsfolk from the parent–child bond to more distant ones have been more important than those associated with any other kind of social alignment. Although Bakhtiar won the qualified support of moderate clerics like Shariatmadari, his measures did not win him the support of Khomeini and the main opposition elements, who were now committed to the overthrow of the monarchy and ... • 6. Technology And Its Impact On Our Lives Computers and technology at large have changed the lives of many people in the world both positively and negatively. Computers have unveiled many things which have greatly influenced our lives. This has made many teachers and students to adopt their use in classrooms. However, the use of computers in our classrooms has been characterized by over reliance on them. Cyber space has also played key roles in our lives. For instance, there is an increase in the number of research papers done each day while, on the other hand, movies watched by students has increased. These can be controlled through regulations and legislation from the governing bodies. However, the author says that 'Cyberspace is a voluntary destination' and "Regardless of how many laws or lawsuit are launched, regulation won't work". However, many people have used virtual books for their own benefit helping them write good research papers. We will critically analyze the literature behind the use of technology, mainly computers, to see how they have influenced our lives both positively and negatively. We will also look at the effectiveness of computer usage in our classrooms today. Computers are an advantage for learners in both scientific and technological education as compared to books. Approximately 2 billion dollars have been used to purchases of more than 2 million computers in America (Gelemter, 1994). However, computers are awaited in a religious fear in both the poor and well up schools. In Washington, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. Response Execution Essay Response Structure Karrie Colin AJS/562 January 28, 2013 George Wilson Response Structure Creating an emergency response plan is very important in any business. There are different plans for medical, fire, police, and school. The following plans are imperative in any environment. There are many things that will happen and Incident Command System (ICS) will help to provide the responders with an effective system that works. But before we go into the structures, an understanding of an incident command system needs to be addressed. According to OSHA, n.d., "ICS is a standardized on–scene incident management concept designed specifically to allow responders to adopt an integrated organizational structure equal to the complexity ... In this level, the responders are either sent back to the area they came from, set back in service after they transport a victim, or they are cancelled all together. The last level is termination. In this level, the incident commander decides that no further action is required and everyone is sent back to their units. The next thing we need to look at are the responsibilities of the incident commander. The first one, according to FEMA, 1999, is to rescue all victims. The second is making sure the victims are taken out of the situation and moved to a medical facility. And the third is to make sure the personnel are safe. Next we will look at fire and rescue. The organization of the incident command is almost the same as the medical responders. According to Fire and Rescue, 2008, the following are the organizational areas for fire and rescue: "Organization on the incident ground, this gives the Incident Commander a recognized system from which to work when organizing and using resources at an Incident, Incident Risk Management, the principal consideration of Incident Commanders is safety of their personnel. • 8. The Pros And Cons Of Abolishment Introduction In recent years, the death penalty is still existing in everywhere although there is less number of convicted offenders than the old time. Some people think that death penalty is the way to constrain people to do not offend or violate the legislation while some have an argument that this punishment should be abolished. In this essay, I will compare two articles. "Why Japanese support the death penalty? " by Shanhe Jiang, Rebecca Pilot, and Toyoji Saito (2010)(article 1) and " Does it matter if the Death Penalty is Arbitrarily Administered ? " by Stephen Nathanson (2009)(article2). These two articles are very different. The former article is based on quantitative research and explains why Japanese people take sides with the death penalty. However, the latter article is based on qualitative research and describes capital punishment should be abolished. I propose to summarize the main ideas of two articles, compare both in many aspects, and conclude in my own opinion. Summary 1. The purpose of the research The first article, the main purpose of the authors is apparently on the topic of their article which is to investigate the reason why Japanese participants support or oppose the death penalty. The second article, the writer also shows the practice of the capital punishment. However, this article is related to the abolishment. The aim of this article is to investigate the debates about the death penalty that is eliminated due to the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This dependence does not bode well in situations of high stress and shortened reaction times. As General Honoré stated, the first part of the leader 's job is to "set people on the right path" ("A Military General's Leadership Lessons," 2009). This happens when the leader gives the initial order. In this case, it was to evacuate the people out of harms way. The plan was then laid out for the authorities to execute. What happened, was that the dependance the authorities placed on the plan of execution did not allow themselves to modify the plan of execution when the situation changed. The leaders were bossing the authorities around in such a manner that the "right path" and desired end result were forgotten. When this occurs, and the execution loses all forward motion because the initial plan is not being followed to the letter, the leaders who were barking orders have to devide their time up between coming up with a new plan and then desiminating it to the proper authorities. • 11. Stoning Is A Form Of Execution As most people know, women have been victims of injustice for hundreds of years, but one form of torture stands out amongst them all in Pakistan. Stoning is a form of capital punishment where a group of people throw stones at a person until he or she dies, more often women than men. Because stoning is a lot slower than other forms of execution, it is considered a form of execution by torture. In other countries like Afghanistan and Iraq, stoning has been declared illegal, but it is still being practice extra judicially. In modern times, allegations of stoning are politically sensitive, as in the case of Iran, which describes such allegations as political propaganda. Stoning still happens today. There are 15 countries in which stoning is either practiced or authorized by law, even if it has never been practiced. In Iran, Mauritania, Nigeria (in one–third of the country 's states), Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen, stoning is a legal punishment. However, out of these countries, only in Iran, Pakistan and Somalia have stoning's actually occurred and all instances in Pakistan have occurred outside the legal system. Stoning is used as a punishment for those who commit adultery. The husband has the honor to throw the first stone. Her children are also forced to participate. Motor Execution Paper Motor Execution The production of speech demands coordination of laryngeal, respiratory, and orofacial muscles (Simonyan & Horwitz, 2011), and once the brain has the framework and layout for what it wants to produce vocally, it can begin to implement its plan. In order to do this, it must leave the cerebrum and begin its journey down the spinal cord, the secondary part of the central nervous system. The journey begins in the motor cortices. Once the signal has been organized, it leaves Broca's area and makes its way towards the motor cortices in the frontal lobe, which include the precentral gyrus (or the primary motor cortex), the premotor cortex, and the supplementary motor area (Ferrand, 2014). The primary motor cortex controls, directs, and coordinates contralateral voluntary movements of skeletal muscles, including the muscles that take part in speech production (Ferrand, 2014). • 16. The Pros And Cons Of The Death Penalty Is the death penalty really the answer? Even though the criminal deserves the punishment of death, it is not always what a person deserves because death is the easy way out of the crime and the methods of killing are cruel. Some people feel that the Death Penalty should be broadened to cases such as rape, child molesters, etc. Execution Problems First off, some states just put people on death row and leave them there for a very, very long amount of time. Furthermore, only 1,110 people have been executed on death row since 1973 and 4.1% of those people were innocent (Ballaro & Cushman, 2016). In a state there was execution that looked like torture because they sat there and watched the man die for 40 minutes with the lethal injection that they had used to kill him (Newsweek Global, 2014). After another execution, they took 45 minutes to find a suitable vein on a man by just probing his arms and a leg because of his past drug abuse. The FBI's evidence shows that the death penalty takes up large amounts of money but still does not deter criminals(Ballaro, Cushman, 2016). In the recent past, some people in the Supreme Court believed that the death penalty has been used in a racist manner, and could have resulted in innocent lives being taken for things they did not do. In Arkansas, the Governor wasn't doing a very good job setting dates for execution, so that the family and friends of the person or the person they committed the crime against could have peace of mind either ... Willie Trottie Willie Trottie, black, poor, abandoned at a young age by an alcoholic mother, and victim of abuse started dating Barbara Canada in 1989 and and soon thereafter began living together and had a child. Willie asked for forgiveness serval times before he was executed. His final words were "I love you all; I'm going home, going to be with the Lord. Find it in your hearts to forgive me. I'm sorry." As the lethal dose of the powerful sedative pentobarbital took effect, he closed his eyes and breathed quietly. After about eight breaths, he opened his mouth to exhale, and then closed it. Why Death? A life sentence is sufficient deterrent, and many would argue more so than the death penalty. There is no evidence that countries that still apply the death penalty have lower crime rates, in fact the opposite seems to be true with the US. The greatest deterrent in crime is the fear of getting caught, not the resultant punishment. If criminals knew that they would get caught and would have to spend a long time in a prison that would make them think twice. If they can be confident that they won 't get caught, even though the punishment is a death sentence, some would take the chance. Countries with effective criminal justice systems, catching people early before they descend into worse and worse offending have the lowest crime, not contries with the harshest penalties. • 19. Improving Student Performance Has Long Been An Issue... Critical Assignment 1 Shelby A. Wood Troy University Article 1 Improving student performance has long been an issue contemplated and researched by educational professionals and psychologists. Nowadays, an even greater burden has been placed on the shoulders of teachers, whose livelihoods are being determined by how well their students perform on standardized tests and other academic evaluations. With this increased amount of pressure, teachers are desperate to find ways to improve student success. As Hidi and Harackiewicz point out, the aspect of student learning that teachers have the most influence over is the amount of effort put in by students (Hidi & Harackiewicz, 2000). Research has shown that students' motivation to meet these academic demands begins steadily declining around the third grade (Anderman & Maehr, 1987; Harter, 1981) which means teachers must take proactive approaches in their classrooms to stimulate and maintain the motivation of their students. According to Hidi and Harackiewicz, student interest serves as a foundation for intrinsic motivation. While teachers are not able to directly impact a student's individual interest (interest determined by the student's predisposition or inclination towards a subject), their situational interest (interest generated by exteneral forces) can be greatly impacted. Their findings showed that situational interest can influence individual interest, and the two forms of interest, working in harmony, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

(as proved previously in the case Dred Scott vs. Sandford.) These were the most frequent reactions of the Southerners; however a man named John Jameson took her side and defended her and her actions toward Robert Newsom as acts of defense against his advances, and claimed she had the right, by law, to use deadly force to protect herself against rape, regardless of her previous sexual relations with him. Though, because of the southerners' hate of the slaves and their desire to treat them as inferiors, they did not deliver the evidence necessary to acquit her for her "crime." Without the populace living within a mental state of worry, and being constantly agitated by the looming threat of capital punishment, the European continent would not be unified between the fifteenth and eighteenth centuries. This concept of mass horror and tyranny was modelled around the use of capital punishment, torture, and execution, and through the public action of these forms of justice, the monarchs and spiritual leaders kept an ability to rule with an iron fist over the populace of a nation–state. However execution was also a public affair and was enjoyed by the masses to a large extent due to the sense of justice and vengeance it created, and a feeling of freedom from lawless criminals due to the large punishment awaiting them if citizens were to break the strict and direct laws of kingdoms. • 31. Black Swan Green Analysis In Black Swan Green, Jason Taylor's adolescence could best be described as a roller coaster, with highs, lows, and everywhere in between. He battles with hapless circumstances, ranging from a rigid relationship with his father to balancing popularity and ethics, all while combatting an internal issue of self–consciousness due to a speech impediment. The significance of all the obstacles, conflicts and decisions is that they will determine what Jason will evolve into for the rest of his life. These scenarios epitomize the obstacles and pressures that a teenager encounters, and demonstrates how someone of that age grows while drudging through something that they've never experienced before. One of the obstacles mentioned above, Jason's relationship with his father, slowly deteriorates throughout the novel and eventually ceases to exist. Before the relationship started to die out, Jason never seems to reach his father's standards, but when his father's relationship with his mum fails, Jason's father starts to fade away from Jason's life. In "January Man" Jason ventures into his father's office, in order to answer a phone, despite being instructed by his father specifically not to. The phone had been ringing endlessly, and Jason was trying to focus. So, Jason ventured into the office and answered. Somehow, Jason's father discovered and brought it up at Dinner. After admitting that Jason had done it, his father plagued him with questions like "What's the rule about not going into my office?", "What question did i just ask you?" and "Now why don't you answer this question?" Jason is faced with the disincentive of questioning his father's legacy: his father has unachievable standards for Jason, but also falls short of Jason's standards for him. This leaves Jason unsure whether or not to listen to his father has taught him in his upbringing Mitchell first introduces the title of "Hangman" as a means of comprehending arguably the most influential difficulty that Jason faces, his stammer, while at the same time examining some of his underlying, discrete characteristics. Initially, Jason sees Hangman as a villain, trying to sabotage his general confidence, and constantly serving as an inhibitor towards what he views as ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 32. Examples Of Flawless Execution Flawless Execution There are three elements to flawless execution. The flowing are: Leadership, execution engine, and foundation. Although, this book is written by a pilot, these elements can be used in any business to perform substantially. I know a lot of businesses fail to use these steps. I see the importance of these steps now. That's why Pizza Artista still stands after a year in business and is kicking butt. Leadership breaks down into three categories. Picture of the future, strategy, and intent. With the picture of the future, a good leader will get everyone on the same page about it with specific details. Strategy will be the plan of the organization. It comes with four key questions. What are we going to be in the future as an organization? What are we going to deploy our resources into or against in order to get there? How are we actually going to do this? When and how are we going to exit and get out with some style and finesse? Answering these questions can make a huge difference. Lastly, your intensions. Everyone needs to know your intentions are about your strategy. Make sure everyone understands what is going on and why. Otherwise, miscommunication falls into place and things can go wrong. The Execution ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This consists of standards, training, and people. It says that the process is your tool. The process helps you get ahead, and it is called Flawless Execution. It is something you set up in yourself, think it over, brief it, and stay honest to yourself. If you stay honest to processes, you pass that down to the next person and drill it into them. I know that people come up with their own processes. They are trying to find an easier, faster way to do this. What they should be focused on is the process itself and perfect ... • 33. Execution Poem Analysis In this poem Execution written by Edward Hirsch tells a philosophical reflection expressed with sadness about a sicken high school football coach who is extremely passionate. The overview of this poem is centered around his favorite word execution. Execution is expressed in multiple ways in this poem. Life was about football for the coach, he would pour in his blood sweat and tears to the game. There was no that he received every inch of effort from his player. Countless hours of preparation, practice, and energy was devoted. You would think working this hard would bring upon serious exhaustion, but the coach was like an energizer bunny, he would keep going. Unfortunately this lifestyle caught up with him, the speaker says he developed cancer. I believe that he spent too much time on the game of football. Ultimately this is what lead to his illness, the neglection of his self for the game that he loved. Details from the poem will be used to argue my claim. These details are relevant to how the coach acted and his philosophies. The significance that we get out of my claim is thought provoking. The type of execution he was preaching to the team went into full effect in the form of cancer towards him. Let me start off by saying that the coach had great intentions for the way he coached. Hardnosed, no nonsense guy, who taught discipline. Learning the art of discipline helps you on the field, but the results are even more notable off the field in everyday life. You cannot go wrong with being a disciplined individual. Real big on fundamentals, a perfectionist at teaching them. The speaker states, " And had perfect unquestioning faith in the fundamentals of blocking and talking, the idea of warfare without suffering or death, the concept of teammates moving in harmony like planets. An architect at work piecing together a formula to prepare his team the best way he can. Losing was not an option, the speaker says that the coach "despised losing." I personally hate losing myself so I can relate. Losing to me is like getting stabbed in the back. It hurts tremendously to not come out victorious. I do not fault the coach for putting the team through strenuous drills or drilling formations and plays in their head. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 34. The Execution Of An Inmate Essay "On April 29, 2014, Oklahoma prison officials administered an untested mixture of 3 drugs to Clayton Lockett, a convicted murderer and rapist" (Greenberg 1). "The execution went immediately and terrifyingly wrong. Following administration of the first drug, Lockett, obviously conscious, started to writhe and groan, and then went into convulsions" (1). This is one example of the many botched executions that have occurred in recent history. With the possibility of an execution going as badly as Lockett's, we must ask if we are violating the US constitution. The 8th amendment states, "Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted" (amend. XIII). considering the possibility of an execution going as badly as Lockett's, we must ask if we are violating this amendment. The execution of an inmate is also likely to bring up issues of faith, Romans 12:18 states "leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the lord" (Rom. 12.18). Morality should determine where we go as a country, including the punishments we invoke. I researched the issue of lethal injection, through review of medical, legal and philosophical journals. Currently in California, lethal injection is a flawed institution with limited success. Financial costs of lethal injection appeals and prisoner confinement but a burden on the state and its budget. To answer this research question, I viewed and analyzed the movie and incorporated information from the text and various websites. While studying this film, I took into consideration factors such as images and language used, how technology is related to society, and what symbols the creator used to convey certain qualities of technology. In this research paper, I will begin by explaining the significance of this project and my areas of research. I will then relay the focus of my investigation, the methods I employed to gain my research, analyze the film, and discuss the implications of my analysis. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This description led me to believe that the outlook of technology at the time, when the Internet was just being introduced to the public, was fear. People feared the unknown power of the new technology of computers. Tron is a story of man battling his own creations, which represents technology as a powerful force with destructive capabilities. I am interested in this project because I have always liked science fiction/fantasy movies. I like to think about the possibilities that technology holds for our future. I am also interested in how technology influences our culture. I was in high school when this movie came out and had limited access to computers at that time. I wasn't concerned with the impact of new computer technology then, but remember hearing people say that machines would someday run the world. For example, I worked for a grocery store in the 1980s and remember other employees worrying that new machines were being developed that would replace the cashiers, and we would all be out of a job. I think this movie would probably have a bigger impact now that computers are such a large part of our everyday lives. Artificial intelligence is still a popular theme for science fiction movies, so people must like to consider it a possibility. I've read that there is a possible sequel to the movie ... Capital Punishment and Methods of Execution Capital Punishment Thirty–two out of the fifty states in the United States of America accommodate to the death sentence, with Virginia being the one of the largest contributors following that of Texas. In 1976, the death sentence was reinstated by the Supreme Court; this produced the outcome of Texas holding the largest number of executions within all the states. Every year, people are brutally killed by inhumane methods of death. Who's to say whether another person has the right to live or not? By taking the life of another, is to play God. In spite of the fact that some find it to be unethical taking another man's life, about 70% of the public agree with the continuation of the death penalty. Methods of execution include lethal injection; being the first option for most, electrocution, gas chamber, hanging, and lastly by firing squad; which is only legal in two states, Oklahoma and Utah; however is it only used if lethal injection is deemed unconstitutional. Many Countries support this ideal; however, there are those who greatly oppose of it. According to the writers on Religioustolerance.org, "Some countries, such as Italy, routinely refuse to extradite accused murderers to the US because of the possibility that they might be executed. Canada originally refused to extradite suspected mass murderer Charles Ng to California for a trial. The government ruling was later overturned by Canada's Supreme Court." • 37. The Importance Of A Competency For Execution Evaluation Introduction An ethical decision is a decision in which a person is conflicted between two moral ideals. The answer is not clear in these types of situations. The deliverance of punishment in America has always been an ethical decision, especially when the punishment is death. After a horrific crime is committed, many complicated proceedings take place, and sometimes these proceedings sometimes lead to the decision to execute the person responsible. The next steps are complex and often times create moral conflicts for those who are participating in them. One step that must take place when an accused has been sentenced to death is a competency exam which is administered by a mental health professional. This paper will focus on mental health professional's participation to certify someone as death ready prior to execution and the ethical decisions that mental health professionals face during this time, yet the ultimate need for their expertise. Background Information A competency for execution evaluation is required by law to be performed before the execution of a person sentenced to death. This exam aims to make sure the accused is death ready, or in other words are they competent to be executed. To be considered competent to be executed, one must: "(a) understand and appreciate the punishment, (b) understand and appreciate death, and (c) have the ability to work with the judicial team" (Neal, 2010, p. 148). The mental health care professional also needs to take into ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 40. The Execution of Death Penalty The Death Penalty Introduction As of 2010, thirty–four States have some form of Death Penalty, while twelve States plus the District of Columbia have no Death Penalty. The number of Death Penalty executions from 1977 2010 by color–coded States follows: (Death Penalty Information Center, 2012). The basic dispute involving the Death Penalty is whether or not it should be abolished. This dispute has raged for decades in the United States and people on both sides of the debate appear to be equally passionate. Anti–Death Penalty individuals propose numerous arguments for banning the Death Penalty; this paper will address three of them: some innocent people are sentenced to death; the Death Penalty is administered arbitrarily; and the Death Penalty is not a deterrent. After presenting those three anti–Death Penalty arguments, the pro–Death Penalty responses will be examined. Anti–Death Penalty Arguments One argument against the Death Penalty is that innocent people are wrongfully convicted and sentenced to death. While the "Innocence Project," associated with the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, was not established to abolish the Death Penalty, many of its findings support the "innocent convict" argument. The "Innocence Project" maintains that people have been wrongfully convicted due to: "eyewitness misidentification; invalidated or improper forensics; false confessions/admissions; forensic science misconduct; government misconduct; informants; and bad ... • 41. Evaluation Of The Execution Of An Evaluation Program Evaluation Chapters 11 & 12 Warranting the execution of an evaluation is not practical reality for all programs, policies, organizations, as it is imperative for the evaluator to assess all factors. More specifically, "The temptation to evaluate everything may be compelling in an idealistic sense, but it ignores many practical realities" (Fitzpatrick, Sanders & Worthen, 2011, p. 259. Ones' ability to identify appropriate opportunities requires essential skillsets, knowledge, and the ability to analyze each condition. In today's society the primary drive behind an evaluation is due to a mandated funding source, thus seeking accountability regarding public funded programs (Fitzpatrick, Sanders & Worthen, 2011). Identifying the purpose of the evaluation is often times vague, requiring the evaluator to examine significant materials pertaining to the stakeholders, as well as properly identifying objectives and expectancies held by the stakeholders (Fitzpatrick, Sanders & Worthen, 2011). This process requests the evaluator to review the purpose of the program, the users, the program, program theory, relevant resources, and appropriate contextual issues. The evaluation process can have significant positive impacts on both the stakeholders and the evaluator, as communication, knowledge, and relationships are established. Thus, "Evaluation can also educate stakeholders, empowering them to become active in the evaluations, by helping them gain skills in questioning ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
