using rhyming words in a poem and how they help
to increase the beauty of a poem .

2. Classroom interaction procedure
Teacher creates an informal interaction
between the teacher and the students.
Do you like poems?
Today we will have a game the children
are divided into groups.
Teacher gives to each groups different
charts which contains the rhyming words
of different poem.
Teacher told them to identify what kind of
words are written in the chart? The teacher
asks some questions to elicit response from
them.

What is the speciality of these
words ?
Do you like to use these type of
words in poems ?
The teacher show a chart which contain a
poem “ My Elephant Thinks I’m
Wonderful”. Teacher read the poem loudly
and asks the pupils to identify these type of
words from that poem. Teacher asks the
pupils to present the words in group wise.

Then teacher shows another chart which
contain the definition of rhyming words
with the help of chart .
Rhyming words in a poem ending with
the same sound are called rhyming
words.
After this teacher give a chance to the
students to take their text book and read the
poem “ The Enchanted Shirt” and give a
chance to the students to find out rhyming
words from the poem.

4. After this teacher shows a chart which
contain the rhyming words are written in
the disorder form and also give a chance to
the students to arrange it in correct form.
At last the teacher give a chart which
contain a poem and also asks the children
to find out these type of words from the
poem.
