Universal design is centered in cognitive
neuroscience for designing learning practices that
works to meet every students specific needs regardless of
their cognitive, physical, emotional, and social
development
The main goal of universal design in
education is to ensure all students are
successful in the classroom
Used to fix the extremely limited curriculum
that has been around for thousands of years
Also used to reduce the amount of children
who are labeled disabled, while increasing the rate
of success among students
