Why
• Integrate cost and schedule across Unifier and P6.
• Need to be able to compare forecasted schedule and
costs from baselines to the current project in terms of
cash flow and summarized by CBS.
• Be able to cost a resource-‐loaded P6 Project.

Benefits
• Ability to compare top down estimates/budgets within
Unifier with bottom-‐up developed costs from P6.
• Ability to cost, resource loaded schedules within Unifier.
• Compare Forecasts from Unifier Business Processes and
P6 Baselines and Current Project with the Unifier Cost
Sheet and Cash Flow.
• Use P6 data as sources of input to EV.

Supported Use Cases
• Duration Based Schedule
– Only Dates sent to Unifier
• Resource-‐Based Schedule
– Dates and Resource Unit Spreads sent to Unifier. Costs can be
calculated in Unifier
• Cost-‐Loaded Schedules
– Dates, Resource Unit and Cost Spreads sent to Unifier

Schedule Type

Summarization Level
• Data summarized by CBS to predefined WBS levels
– Complete – all WBS Codes
– Levels – to a user defined level of WBS
– Partial – user selects which WBS level on any branch in the
hierarchy

Resource & Cost Loaded Schedules
• P6 Resource assigned to the Project are automatically
created as Roles in Unifier. (Roles in Unifier provide the
rates and assigned currency)
• P6 Resource Based projects will be costed within Unifier
as they are integrated. If a rates do not exist for a role
then they can be added and the P6 Summary Sheet can
be re-‐costed.

• This new integration provides a means of comparing
top-‐down budgets with bottom-‐up costs defined within
the schedule.
• It also allows us to compare the various baselines to
review the performance of the project.
