  • Show up before the forum if you want to speak with a speaker; know what you want to say before you reach them – how do you want them to remember you?; have business card out and write your main point on the back for them (if there is room); buy the conference CD  of all the presentations. networking at the social events which tracks inform your market strategy? Which are full of your potential customers? talk to people you’re sitting near – don’t waste time trying to check email – make connections its a fairly flat industry so getting face time with senior level executives isn’t that difficult – use it wisely if you choose to use it.
