Following acquisition of the German company Dress for Less, Privalia sought to modernise and unify all their stores on a single world-class e-commerce platform, and therefore required a strategic plan for systems migration based on IBM WebSphere Commerce. This responsibility was entrusted to atSistemas as prime contractor.
The project involved many offices: atSistemas (Barcelona, Madrid, Cádiz) and Privalia (Barcelona, Frankfurt), making intensive use of powerful software development methodologies such as Scrum.
After the GoLive of the first shop to be migrated, Haburi, atSistemas began to provide the corrective and development maintenance service through a mixed team between Barcelona y and the development centre in Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz).

Mayoral requested the presence of atSistemas both during GoLive and post– GoLive to ensure proper development of the platform. The following tasks were involved:
•Management of IBM WebSphere Commerce and WAS. This service is provided from our Management and Remote Analysis Service (SAAR).
•The corrective and (minor) development maintenance service was provided from our development centre in Jerez de la Frontera.
13. The partnership with Mayoral derived from an audit requested due to a months-long delay by a third party in launching the IBM WebSphere Commerce store.
