This document outlines a lesson plan about healthy diets and food choices. It includes three learning objectives: 1) To discuss how to correctly grow our bodies and minds, 2) To make choices about what to eat and how those choices affect our bodies, and 3) To create posters showing a menu of a meal of their choice. Students will complete two tasks: 1) Imagine owning a healthy restaurant and creating a menu. 2) Watch a movie and make their own banana shake, writing the procedure using linking words. Assessment includes questions, a menu checklist, and systematic observation. A model answer for making a banana milkshake is provided.
