We are very pleased to meet you!
We are a group of pupils of the lyceum № 5 of
Mtsensk, Oryol region. There are 7 boys and 7
girls in our group. We love our lyceum very
much. Our lyceum is 41 years old. There are 50
teachers and 500 pupils in it.
3. Our native town is Mtsensk. It is ancient. It is one year older
than Moscow. Mtsensk was founded in 1146. We celebrate its
birthday on the 20-th of July.

5. Our ancient town of Mtsensk stands on the river Zusha. The
Zusha is lovely for swimming, boating and fishing. It flows
into the river Oka, then into the Volga, after that into the
Caspian Sea.
6. Mtsensk lies on seven hills. Like great cities Moscow and
Rome, Mtsensk is situated on 7 hills.
Our town is very green and clean.

Mtsensk is Spasskoye -
Lutovinovo. It is a village 12
km far from our town. This is
the birthplace of a great
Russian writer I.S. Turgenev.

world love his books. He
described Mtsensk land and
its people in his works.
