This presentation outlines the process of enabling Persistent Stereo Augmented Reality Object tracking using Vuforia and Unity3D. The example shown uses the Digital Eyewear example from https://developer.vuforia.com/downloads/samples.

2. Step 1: Switch off Object Mesh Renderers
 In my Example I have the default 2

3. Step 2: ARCamera Settings
 NB: I have 2 markers

4. Step 3: ImageTargets > Enable Extended Tracking

5. Step 4: Test Extended Tracking
Physical Marker Setup Stereo Videos – I can move away from the markers briefly and retain the models
Turn over markers
No longer tracked

6. Step 5: Enable Persistent Tracking
Edit: Vuforia/Scripts/DefaultTrackableEventHandler
ObjectTracker tracker = TrackerManager.Instance.GetTracker<ObjectTracker>();
bool success = tracker.PersistExtendedTracking(true);
Add these two lines of code for persistent tracking

7. Step 6: Test Persistent Tracking
Physical Marker Setup Stereo Videos – I can move away from the markers and retain the models
Turn over markers
Their tracked!!!
