1. AUTOBIOGRAPHY
1965. I was born on February 28, in Bugalagrande, a small town in the center of the
department of Valle del Cauca. My mother is Mrs. Eliza Betty Marín Ruiz.
1975. I began my elementary studies in the school Juan de Dios Rodríguez.
1980. I started to study high school in an educational institution named I.E. Eleazar
Libreros, where I completed only the 8th grade. Then I entered to another institution called
I.E. Agricola Campoalegre where I finished the high school in 1986. In this educational
institution I became a very good sportsman, especially as a volleyball player, being
volleyball my favorite sport. In fact, I was part of the high school team and later on I was
part of the municipality team an also of the department team.
1986. I enlisted in the Colombian military forces in the city of Villavicencio – Meta.
1988. I began to work in a timber company, where I worked by space of three years.
1990. On March 17, I married Mrs. Liliana Córdoba. At the end of this same year I entered
to work in a building company called Conciviles S.A. I worked there for seven years; first
as a laborer and finally I became personnel chief.
1991. My daughter Alejandra was born.
1994. My son Alejandro was born.
1998. I entered to work in the municipal government of Andalucía, Valle. I worked there
till 2002.
2002. On December 31 of this year, I suffered an accident in which I almost lost my life. I
was in the hospital ClinicaltheOccidente in Cali, during 45 days in intensive cares. I had
pelvic fracture and diastasis of hip, I broke three ribs and I had pulmonary
thromboembolism too. I was not able to work during two years and eight months.
2005. I began to work on April 5 again in the municipal government of Andalucía. There I
worked till the 31th of March, 2009.
2009. On March 28, I started to work in the building company Pisa S.A. At the beginning I
was office assistant and finally I became auxiliary of personnel. I worked there till
November 20th, 2011.
2010. I began my professional studies in the AutónomatheOccidente University in the city
of Tuluá. I finished the first semester and only part of the second, but I retired because of
lack of economic resources.

2. 2012. I entered again to work in the municipal government of Andalucía the 7th of
November, where I work actually as administrative assistant in the infrastructure
department. In this same year I continued my studies in Coruniversitec University. I study
Software development technology.
During these 48 years of my existence, I have been a person who has fought very hard,
because I was born in a family of few economical resources. My mother had not the way to
give us education, to me and to my five brothers. I was lucky, thanks to God, first at all
because he guided me to another family, where they raised me, and they gave to me
elementary and secondary education. During my childhood I suffered several sicknesses as
typhus and measles. I remember that I almost die one day when we were moving to another
house, I fell to the Cauca River and I was near to drown.
However during all these periods I have been happy, no matter the lack of economic
resources, now I have a happily well composed family, where I have enough support from
my wife and her family and as well from my brothers. I was the president of the junta
communal action in my neighborhood during eight years and now I am the president of the
junta of the Civil Defense of my municipality.
My current goal is to finish my studies in software development and start studying law.
