Whendesigningmydigipakandadvertisementimage thatwouldfeature onmyadvertisement
poster,I usedthe software of Adobe PhotoshopsothatI was able toaccess a wide range of effects
to make my digipakandadverthave synergywithmymusicvideo.Ialsousedthe effectstomake a
more professional lookingproduct.
Here, I have useda colouroverlayinorderto give mydigipakandadvertpostera blue tint,thiswas
because mymusicvideofeaturedthe blue tinteffectoverall the clipsandso I wasable to create a
dreamlike hazyatmosphere overmydigipakandposteranda synergybetweenmymusicvideoand
my digipakandposter. Ialso usedthe opacitytool to
filterthe colouroverlayovereachimage andsoI was
able to designthe musicvideowiththe correctopacity
so that the textandimage was still easilyseen.
I tamperedwiththe opacitywhenIwascreatingmy
digipakandadvertisementposterinordertodecide
whatlevel of opacitylookedthe bestandthe one that
youcouldread the textand still see the imageson.
Alsowhendesigningmydigipak,Ifirstof all openedthe chosenimages inaseparate photoshop
documentandwas able toselectdifferentimagestouse tofeature inmymusicvideo.Iwasalso
able to use the effectof sharpeningwhenIwaseditingone of myfinal digipakimages. This
sharpeningeffectallowedme tomake myimageslookmore professionallytakenandtherefore look
