Survey Results
The majority of people surveyed were females (66.7%) and
were between 17-25 (77.8%) ( this could however, represent the age of
         those who use facebook, as that’s who filled in my survey)
Majority belonged to the White British ethnic group.
Majority of those surveyed were students, 44.4% of them
had a part time job.
Pop music is most popular, followed my indie music and
then R&B.
Those surveyed said they are most likely to spend between
£2.00- £2.99
Majority of those who buy music magazines would buy them
from newsagents or supermarkets.
They would also be likely to buy the magazines because of the
pictures, the freebies and the interviews also have a large
influence.
Majority of the people buy magazines either once a fortnight or one a month.
This could suggest that there is a magazine that appeals to the.
The most common magazines bought in the past are Billboard, Smash Hits,
and NME magazines. Two from the most three successful types are chart
magazines, suggesting they are popular.
